Very good point.... I am still picturing a group of Middle eastern men pulling a boat on shore of a beach. It would signal a threat right there.Since MS people do not flock to the beach. I also think that we in So calif. have a different way of dealing with things... Remember " freeway shootings" Those happen when someone doesn't let you into traffic. G_d help the terrorist that thinks we are all Bay Watch Wankers.... they will look like a loaf of swiss cheese, with a surfboard stiching out if its rear end.

RE: 95

Videotape them, take notes, write down license plate numbers, mail copies to Fox News, the local media, and the FBI. (And let each recipient know who is on the whole Cc: list, to prevent anyone from bit-bucketing the information.)

You are of course correct. It's too bad that we aren't receiving such lucid commentary from our government.

Precisely, Tom. Common sense has left the building.

Sadly, yes.

The only part of our government I have any faith in anymore is the military, but even it is nowhere near what it should be after years of Clinton essentially dismantling it.

Agreed.

lity is there's nothing the average citizen can do to help protect us from another attack. We can make plans to protect ourselves and our immediate vicinity should something go wrong, but as far as averting the next large-scale attack there is zero we can do because no one's listening.

Yep. For now, being alert and reporting suspicious activity seems to be the best that we can do, while our government does absolutely nothing about restricting entry onto our land, and stupidly insists on body searching 90 year old grandmothers at airport terminals.

They are employiong the same twisted logic that has been used in the gun control "debates". As to "gun control", do nothing with criminals, but be sure to take guns away from law abiding gun owners. As to "terrorists", do not restrict entry of suscpect people (a.k.a profiled) but be sure to restrict the freedom of travel of the others.

The Founders were indeed wise. Government IS best that governs least. We have been and are presently being led by fools and sellouts.

Have a nice day.

Link?
I have a link that shows you get furious if you hear people talk in a language other than yours.
Since you are name calling, what does that make you?
