Isn't it interesting his lawyers were not allowed to implicate anyone else at his trial? Please call Shelby.

My fear is that we are compromised. We have been invaded and the infection is spread throughout the body of the nation.

Now, more than ever, we need to be able to face the fires of Hell.

But it certainly is very odd that it's proving so hard to document what Padilla was doing in '95

Except for one thing...witnesses said he was not an American. Also, Padilla does not have a large sloppy mouth. He has very regular features and looks part black.

I wish I could figure out some reason the Clinton administration didn't want to pursue investigation, apprehension and justice of a Middle Eastern/Osama Bin Laden connection to the OKC bombing?

After examining the known facts, the most likely explanation that is consistent with what we know to be true is that the OKC bombing was an attempt by U.S. intelligence assets to infiltrate the Middle Eastern terrorist network that was and is at war with the U.S.

An intelligence asset attempting to infiltrate a terrorist organization would not gain the confidence of the leaders of the organization without killing people. In my opinion, a decision was made at the highest level to sacrifice the victims in Oklahoma in order for one or more intelligence operatives to move up in the terrorist network. In addition, by focusing blame on the people disturbed by Waco, Clinton could achieve a domestic political "victory" with the cover of a "legitimate" intelligence operation and invoke National Security to insure Congress and the Courts went along (as well as a Governor).

For folks in Washington, losing the Murrah Building was necessary to gain intelligence to prevent a potential attack on the political infrastructure. Please consider a "dirty" bomb exploding outside the Capitol Building during a State of the Union address and the effect on our elected leaders. This is the nightmare scenario our intelligence community is expected to defend against.
I reject the sacrifice of innocent civilians for whatever the purpose and believe the operation should be exposed for what it was and those responsible should be held accountable.
The failures that began in OKC resulted in the attack on 9-11.

Re OKC's John Doe #2 vs. Padilla: The eyes, eyebrows and hair are exactly the same. The nose similar. The mouth and jawline different. Drawings are never exact. But those eyes are HAUNTINGLY right-on!

Thanks for putting forward your theory for motive, honway. I never thought of it that way, but it could have been what happened.

Har! If you gave them a coloring book with crayons they'll never do it.

Good info *bump*

Except that Padilla is NOT a foreigner... and he is black/Hispanic appearing. So i doubt the hair is as you say

Regardless of the EXACT scenario that was the underlying truth in OKC, there are some parts that ARE recurring in any logical analysis. One is that the Islamic Fanatics were brought to this Country. The other is that they were ALLOWED to effect their Plan.

All of the rest of it, whether based on Good Intentions, The Greater Good, or any other "noble" considerations, places the decision makers in an Elitist Mode.

Too many of us still remain alive who were used as pawns in another failed game of the power-mad. Some still don't realize they were. And we were in Uniform.

I can't conceive of a bureaucrat or politician countenancing something like the OKC bombing for the purpose of infiltration. The risks would be too great. The truth could always come out, and the gains from infiltration would not be nearly enough in the public mind to justify the deaths of OKC. Remember, bureaucrats are risk-averse.

If the OKC bombing was for the purposes of infiltration, it sure doesn't look as if the infiltration accomplished what it presumably was meant to do. Not only 9/11 but a bunch of other terrorist acts have occurred in recent years.

Thanks for considering the theory. I am very open to any other plausible explanation as to why the government had no interest in arresting John Doe II or the man videotaped with McVeigh on the morning of the bombing(possibly the same man).
I am interested in an explanation as to why the prosecution did not present a single witness at trial placing McVeigh in OKC on April 19. Numerous witnesses came forward but they all saw McVeigh with another man that was not Nichols.

I am interested as to why the prosecution was not interested in the Nichols ties to associates of bin Laden in the Phillipines and why the Court would not permit the evidence to be presented at trial. The list goes on and on but if someone could give me a plausible explanation for the list above I would be very glad to consider it.

The risks would be too great.

The risks were great and under no circumstances could the truth be told by someone with credibility. Many patriotic, duty bound Americans were murdered to keep the secret. The most dramatic example was the murder of OKC policeman Terry Yeakey in May of 1996, but here were many others.

Terry Yeakey Murder

I am convinced, based on the evidence, that the FBI and the OKCPD participated in the cover-up of the murder of OKC police officer Terry Yeakey. I can find no other plausible explanation for this fact, other than the theory presented in reply #27.

In OKC police officer Terry Yeakey's own words before his murder:

"The sad truth of the matter is that they have so many police officers convinced that by covering up the truth about the operation gone wrong, that they are actually doing our citizens a favor."

From the Terry Yeakey link.

Could someone tell me where the drawing of Padilla
was originally published, who drew it,
and was it an official FBI or Police bulletin??...

I have recently had an individual in LE tell me that
"the drawing wasn't a police issued composite," and to
"try finding something that wasn't off the Internet"...

I KNOW this photo is as well known as the unibomber's
Foster Grants, but the response I got was
"call this 800 number, it's the tip line"...
and "try finding something that's not off the Internet"..

I wasn't being pushy, or demanding inquiry and action, just a curious citizen, inquiring mind, wanting to know..
I guess F*B*I really does stand for "Fo'geddah Bout It"
