because we have no humidity, we get relief at sunset
without moisture there is nothin' to hold the heat
the instant Sun sets temp starts dropping steeply
by dawn it is 40° cooler than hottest time of day (which is bout 4pm)

Thanks for the rose Palo, but three days pay for me is not all that much (cough...) Wish I could give more.
To: palo verde
I wish the humidity was less here. Sometimes at night it's awful sleeping, even with air conditioning.

Thanks just don't let Gray Davis find out that you donated 3 day's pay to Free Republic! He will be making a house call on you wanting his share, the rest of the year's pay.

I like climate of no humidity
I never had it before
I lived in NYC my whole life till I moved to Tucson 11 years ago
the only problem with no rain, no humidity, is we have no trees (very few) and it is not green
I love trees
I am addicted to the bright light tho
(also I miss lakes, we have no water
swimmin' in lakes is my favorite
thank God Tucson has wonderful public swimmin' pools)

Hey snopercod, you still watching California energy issue? I guess the recession sort of took care of the power crisis, too bad Gray Dimbulb's moronic policies bankrupted the state in the process, eh?

You just posted one of the best kept secrets in Kaliland:
I guess the recession sort of took care of the power crisis.
Between the companies moving to get out of Kali when the blackouts started and the anti business rhetoric grew each day to drive businesses out, that combined with the recession kept us from having more blackouts.
No economist or fishwrap wants to take this on and expose the real reason of why we are not having more blackouts.
