I was thinking the same thing. They could expect to be stopped in individual cases, but not as a whole. Like 9/11. At least one plane never got off the ground, maybe more. Another suspicion I had was multiple attacks in the same city, as an attempt to distract law enforcement or divide their manpower.

SO APPARENTLY THEY LET THIS ARAB MAN GET AWAY?? LEAVE IT TO SAN FRANCISCO FOR SUCH NONSENSE. WHY WOULD THE TERRORISTS BE AFRAID OF THE US FOR THE MOST PART? BECAUSE OF SO MANY IDIOTS WHO WANT TO BE PC AND NOT QUESTION OBVIOUS BEHAVIOR. YEAH, WAIT UNTIL IT HAPPENS. WHAT IS IT WITH THIS LACK OF EFFORT ON PEOPLE'S PARTS ESPECIALLY AFTER 9/11 TO LOOK AT OBVIOUS SIGNS AND THE FACT THAT THOSE PLANNING MASSIVE ATTACKS ARE ARABIC/MUSLIM?? MAYBE IT'S ALL INEVITABLE AFTER ALL. NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. GOOD 'OL LIBERAL SAN FRAN WILL JUST LET IT BE. PEACE. THEY JUST WANT TO MURDER AND DESTROY THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE. NO PROBLEM. WHAT A JOKE. I think it logical--New York, DC, SF, Hollyweed and some major military areas like Seattle, San Diego and maybe something in Florida and Texas for various reasons. . . . and Chicago and Denver as symbols in the heartland.

Part of me thinks Hollyweed and SF sort of are asking for it. . . and sometimes NY . . . and I suppose a case could be made for aspects/parts of DC at least deserve a ton of egg on their faces . . . but none of them totally deserve such creeps administering the discipline.

Part of me wonders that even with "homeland security" so "wonderfully" "in place" our many headed, many tentacled, many department governmentS have the remotest capacity to scope out and be responding to such a wide ranging diversity and locations of such threats.

Am I alone in thinking there's still WAYYYYYYYYYYY TOOOOOO MUCH going around with heads in dark holes and thumbs in wrong places? . . . regarding such things?
