Thanks for clarifying what I thought you had told me earlier.

It seems to me that if Ages and Stages is as good a test as you say, it would make good sense for them to continue to use it in these kindergarten screenings. They will need to decide soon, if they haven't already, since these screenings are reported to begin even before school starts.

In a similar vein, do you have any idea about what I had asked Summer in my first post regarding how the schools know what background the children have come from? Do the parents fill out a form detailing any prior pre-school or day-care experience? Do they just ask the kids themselves? If they are going to track these things then they will need to know for sure exactly what programs these kindergarteners have come from.
