I quote from the article-'The Kashmiri people were promised a referendum on their status in 1948, but that vote has never been held.' Were promised a referendum WHEN the Pakistani army withdrew. And by the way, they were promised this referendum by the UN which was a provision the Indian govt. agreed to. Anyway, Kashmir is an integral part of India. The article is factually incorrect in many places. Events have been distorted and exaggerated. I ask readers to read up thoroughly and THEN condemn a country.

'massacres america' yields 3x the hits as 'massacres india'. 'massacres israel' is ~2.5x, 'massacres britain' is a tad more, 'massacres afghanistan' is the same, 'massacres france' is more than 3x....so wtf is your point?

I agree. What is your point?

I agree with
mikeIII here,
wtc911. If you make a statement for which you claim publicly available evidence exists, it is
your job to provide such evidence. This is called the "burden of proof" and it is essential to constructive debate. Expecting others to research evidence for a claim you have adopted is discourteous at best and disingenuous at worst.
If you want your statements about India to be taken seriously, I respectfully request that you post links to the evidence you have referenced. If you don't care whether or not your statements are taken seriously, I ask--again with respect--why you have posted them on a serious forum.

India's real enemy is China. We may not like it very much, but the fact is that China and Pakistan are greater allies of the U.S. than India.
