"turning someone's speculation into a "known fact".
Just so you know, that comment was not directed to you...

PS. I'm glad someone else remembers reporting about GC and CL meeting at ice-cream shops....It's been so long, I don't fully trust all of my recollections of last summer's reporting.
I'm still looking for an old source for that...maybe DePaulos article, or one of Isikoffs?

It was made of the day their declared it a "muder" by the head of the police department. Read the transcript I think it's there.

Just bumping!!!

Where's the darn watch?? Sac
Not mentioned among missing items? Not mentioned among items found? Not mentioned?????????WHY?
If it was a theft (ring and bracelet) Why not take the watch? DIDn't it have an ID # on it? Easily tracable?
To: hoosiermama
You are so right...! I even started the post but already forgot it was a T-Shirt...( I need to stay off the computer! )
The items found with the remains -- her leggings, a University of Southern California T-shirt (police initially said it was a sweat shirt), a pair of Reebok running shoes, underwear, a reddish-colored sports bra and broken sunglasses -- -may prove critical for the investigation. But they apparently did not show cuts or other tears that forensic investigators could match with the bones to indicate whether Levy may have been shot or stabbed.

If you save this to your computer, it should be twice this size. When I enlarge this, it gets very watery with no definition. See what you can do with it.

I see a watch and a ring on her RINGFINGER. What do you see?
To: Registered
It looks like it could possibly be a ring, but I can't see it clearly enough to be sure. In the top picture, there is also a bracelet on her arm, but again, it's not clear enough to be able to get any definition.
There's another video that is undated where the watch and her hands show clearly. I have not been able to capture that one yet, but keep hoping Fox will show that one at some point, also.

OK! There is so much conflicting information out there! Either bad, (using non-confirmed) reporting or just intentional wrong info leaks. Who/what does a person believe?
Points I've discovered:
Chandra's apartment was VERY secure. It would be extremely difficult for someone to get to her apartment (or for her to leave)without passing the desk clerk that opened the front door. (unless of course it was professional or the "desk clerk-butler" did it!)
Questions I still have:
1. Where is the watch?
2. Why did she sign off the computer at the same time Condit left his meeting? (which included Mike)
3. How did she get to the area where they found her body?
4. How stable is Make Dayton? (Is he a Gary Condit wana be?? that can't get any girls?)
5. Why tie knots in each pant leg? Or were they tied together to strangle her? (Why the confusion?)
6. Who killed Chandra Levy?

Good Job Helen!
DEFINATELY a watch. Bracelet may be more toward her actual hand. Can't tell about ring? Which hand, finger?
To: Sacajaweau
Keys might be at the dump, taken there by clean up crew that was cleaning the area aroung the nearby creek. Keys, hiking boots, a shirt were some of the items fished out by the scouts and samaritans doing the clean-up.

Thanks, I needed that laugh. You are right on the money.
To: hoosiermama
I see a ring on her left ring finger.

Yelp! Think you're right! Better with magnifying glass! (Really feel like Sherlok using that!)
To: hoosiermama
I'm convinced the ring she wore was not a pinky ring, but a standard ring. So, if the AP Photographer would only answer my email. We need to see a better blow-up of the ring that is on Condit's finger.

Yes! If he's out on an assignment, it could take a while.
What bugs me is NO MENTION of the watch!
To: hoosiermama
Yes, WE ARE BUGGED aren't we!

WHy tie knots in each pant leg? One for each wrist. The leggings themselved could have been looped around a tree or her own body. I drew pictures but they are too creepy to post.
One reporter SAW police talking and gesturing to each other at the crime scene.
He saw a detective crossing his wrists in front of his body, as if to indicate this is how he thought she had been bound.

You may be able to tell a little more from the video itself. I've pulled just this small portion for you to look at. You can see it
HERE(Gotta get off FR...I'm not doing what I'm supposed to be doing!!)
