"...reason and intellect..."
Highly suspect qualities in a totally politicized era.
Maybe the park squirrels hid her all this time. Think, man, think!
Trust Chief Ramsey; I'm sure he'll do the responsible thing.

That kop looks and sounds retarded!! They most certainly have done everything wrong to solve this case.

So where is the picture sir, again you have fallen off your pedestal.

were found by a man walking his dog, that's right, walking his dog, ... This was the thing that caught me--presuming the man was walking his dog on a leash, we can be sure he wasn't in heavy brush. Just how thorough was their search?

If you think that Ramsey is bad, have you been paying attention to the "fire commissioner" - a Mr. Few? Not only did he "exagerate" his resume in order to get his job, he allowed his three "underlings" to do the same - massively.
Home Rule for the District of Columbia has been a disaster but nobody has the cajones to say it out loud. It's just not PC.

Why did it take a private person walking his dog to find CL? One would hope that any competent PD in such a high profile missing persons case would have dog searched every piece of park and open ground in a mile plus circle around her apartment. Plus, that park in particular as her computer cache file showed she did a mapquest search for the building in that park.

I almost missed the joke when reading the headline because I read the real one earlier. Now my side hurts.

"WASHINGTON The medical examiner inspecting Chandra Levy's remains has discovered a crack in the Chief of Police Charles Ramsey's skull, investigators have told Registered." A Crackpot case of police chief with a Crack in his skull and a Mayor on Crack!
This must be DC!!

"Quarter mile from the trail" =(100 yards from major road)
"Scattered over large area" = (30 square yards, size of a nice livingroom)
"Inaccessable area" = (You can drive a car right up to it)
"Huge 1700 acre park" = (The size of W's ranch)
"The leaker ought to be shot"= (Yes, it's true)
more DCPD quotes????

It would be nice to think that Chief Ramsey is that stupid, because the alternative is that he deliberately botched the investigation. Which is not surprising, considering that the whole DC budget is determined by the U.S. Congress.
Maybe if Ramsey is stupid enough he will slip up, the truth will come out, and justice will be done. But if Levy's murderers include not only Condit but powerful friends, suspected to be a ring of sexual perverts and Arab diplomats, it's not likely no matter how stupid he is. Janet Reno is hardly capable of walking and talking at the same time, yet she successfully stonewalled for years. The people behind her who ensured that she would get away with it.

If I recall, didn't the initial findings indicate that the body had been in place during the 'chief's' 'search' for Miss Levy?
This guy and his job performance is proof why affirmative action is a sham!

Unnamed sources speculated that the crack may be a result of Chief Ramsey's repeated self-inflicted blows to the head with the heel of his hand...

Why did it take a private person walking his dog to find the watch box? hmmmmmm ... makes you wonder if the Levy investigators have dog walkers on the payroll.

Ask a thousand cops, and 9999 will tell you the husband/boyfriend is always the #1 suspect in a murder.
Nope, not in this case...

...her computer cache file showed she did a mapquest search for the building in that park. This bothers me as well. IMO it seems that she was going to meet someone.
