And all you liberals would have screamed bloody-freakin' murder if we had done those things.

Actually, the Phoenix memo never wormed its way out of FBI prior to 9-11. That's the fact. That's what makes this so much like Pearl Harbor. The same screwups at midlevel happened here.

That's what my post was meant to say. In reviewing it, it was as clear as mud.

I'm saying a President cannot respond to every possible threat... Which justifies NOT responding to any threat?

I suspect Tuco would have polled California and New York for the appropriate action, since when those two states are on your side you "can't lose". Hey - I never anticipated Katherine Harris would FIX the election.

</>I am more worried about stopping new attacks.
So am I.
I trust our President to make decisions of how to best use the resources we have and correct some of the messes he inherited .
Maybe I too would be more trusting if Condi Rice spent less time playing her piano.
But I must say, she plays the piano well.

The President, VP, NSA, nor FBI Driector saw the memo from Phoenix before 911. Facts Then let's release all the info so we can decide for ourselves.
BTW - Condi Rice plays the piano well.

Yes, let's do that. Let's completely compromise all our intelligence capabilities. Let's make all of our sources, intelligence gathering tools, etc public. That would make all of us soooo much safer, right?
BTW, giving top secret intelligence to Congress is like giving it the the NY Times.
To: Trust but Verify
Let's make all of our sources, intelligence gathering tools, etc public. Never said that.
But non-secret info should be released.
BTW - Condi Rice plays the piano well.

blame America firsters Yeah these people are dan blather followers, you know, the clinton is an honest man crowd. These are zombies, no longer able to think rationally, least of all independently. These people have been brainwashed by dan blather, and his buddies for decades to hate America.
bump for a Thinking National Security Treasure.

I kind of figured that. Anyhoo, don't waste your time responding to Tuco. He's a troll.
