How low does the % of your brain in actual use at any one time go? Not low enough to vote for Harry Browne.

Not low enough to vote for Harry Browne.
At 0.4% max you'd probably vote for anybody, even a Democrat.

Another witless screed penned by one of the Marxist/Gramscian's "useful idiots." So true, so sad. Of course, how can you be a hero in your make-believe world if you don't have such skulking villians?
I am putting you all on my list!

At 0.4% max Then quality is evidently more important than quantity.

make-believe world Make-believe? How many tens of millions died as a result of Marx's goal of a borderless world in which the state withers away?
"...Marx is the greatest libertarian to have appeared in the history of the human race..." -- Antonio Gramsci

Democrats are "quality"? Ewwww...
To: Roscoe
I think you missed the point. Why don't you try again?
To: philman_36
Democrats are "quality"? They share a lot of "qualities" with the LP. Support for legalized abortion on demand, open borders, sexual peversion, promiscuity, pornography, etc.

Marx was "the greatest libertarian to ever live" according to a famed Italian socialist.
We should care about his obviously incorrect opinion for what reason?

How many tens of millions died as a result of Marx's dream of a borderless world in which the state withers away? A dream which lives on in the LP?

Far too many died.
An omnipotent state isn't exactly what libertarians calls for though, but I'm sure that you know that.

An omnipotent state isn't exactly what libertarians calls for though Neither did Marx, but that's where anarchy inevitably leads.

I gotta tell ya, Kev, you're starting to scare me. I mean, at first I thought it was funny that you are obviously a DU disruptor who regularly visits us here in FReeperland to mock us with your perverse caricature of conservatism. But now, I'm starting to think that a couple of people around here might actually take you seriously....nah, must just be the liberdopian in me, being paranoid...

"The first principle of republicanism is that the lex majoris partis is the fundamental law of every society of individuals of equal rights; to consider the will of the society enounced by the majority of a single vote as sacred as if unanimous is the first of all lessons in importance, yet the last which is thoroughly learnt. This law once disregarded, no other remains but that of force, which ends necessarily in military despotism." --Thomas Jefferson
"Where the law of the majority ceases to be acknowledged, there government ends; the law of the strongest takes its place, and life and property are his who can take them." --Thomas Jefferson

Your tenuous connection between Marx and the Libertarian Party or the libertarian philosophy is false. Marx desired one world under communism rule...hardly open borders. By the way not all libertarians are for open borders just like not all Republicans are for giving amnesty for illegal aliens.
Further I'm not sure that anarchy always leads to Socialism/Communism. Would you like to reference a study showing that anarchy always leads to Socialism and or Communism?
Of course libertarianism isn't anarchy but I'm sure you know that to.

Marx desired one world under communism rule... Libetarianism desires one world under libertarian rule...

Yet, and you should be able to confirm or deny this since "you know all things Libertarian", out of the two ideologies only the Democrats have enacted either of the "qualities" you've mentioned (which isn't quality BTW) into being through legislation.
