Futron/Zogby poll says 7% of those with the scratch would take a two-week flight to the ISS for $20 million. If the price is $5 million, 16% would go. 61% would rather train in the US than have to go to Russia. Annual incomes over $250,000 were polled. There's a lot of customers.

I expect the Chinese to reach their goals. Their kids are the best educated in the world, and they are hard workers. I challange you to find anything in any electronic store that is not made in China.

I'm not really arguing about their technological capability to do this; rather, I'm raising the BS flag based on what's being said, what's being planned, and the timetable being given, which point to this being a political effort.

I personally do not believe that the Chinese political landscape can sustain the effort required to make it work.
