I'm speeding up as I get closer to the end, but the exact goal line keeps moving further away.

I'm guessing another month or two to be finished the rough, with a completed length of about 375 pages.

Well of course ... buy both! LOL!

I am trying to maintian about a six month time period between novels (I always hate waiting a year or more myself). I'll be close this first time and hope to maintain that. Not easy to do while putting bread on the table and having 400+ page volumes.

Twain's excuse is a good one in that regard ... by default. I hope not to have to use that one for some very long time to come. Got Grand kids coming now and this Granmpa plans on hanging around as long as the good Lord will allow.

Volume II of Dragon's Fury (Trodden Under) looks like it will be over 400 pages ... maybe 425 or so.

Volume I was closer to 450.

After this one ... two down and three to go!

Glad to hear your making steady progress. Look forward to buying it and reading it.

Personally, and this is a shameful admission, I've never sky dived. Not scared of it or anything, just never got the opportunity. Not to say I'm too old. Remember Bush the Elder and his famous jump at seventy something.

I didn't mention in my review but the production of the book is very nice. I like the cover, font and stock. Nice job there too! Have a nice weekend and BUMP again for a great book.

I just don't know how you can write 400 pages every 6 months! I am a real snail compared to that.

That's because you spend to much time talking on the internet.

Way too much midnight oil bro.

As Merle (the Hag') would say ...

"I got to keep going ... I cain't slow down."

But it sure does catch up to me once in a while for sure.

Regards ... you'll have email sometime this weekend.

Two competitive friends go sky diving. The first jumps from the plane, pulls the cord and his chute opens. The second jumps, pulls the cord and nothing happens. He falls straight down. As he passes his friend, the friend gets angry, unbuckles his harness and shouts, “So you wanna race, eh?”

Hahahaha! This is great! it's also a good way for me to bump this thread again (-:

Been there, done that. It's called "leapfrogging." Lower chute steals air from the higher, fall 100 feet, switch places.

Beauty of a fight when you get to the ground.

"leapfrogging"

Sure...You just try getting me to jump out of the plane in the first place! (-;

I was on a cross-country flight once, about six hours in the air. There were only about twenty of us jumping junkies aboard - the rest of the flight was filled with straight-leg REMFs.

Five hours or so out, we got up and started our in-flight rigging. Add main chute, ruck, reserve, rifle case, etc.

The legs eyes were getting big.

We told them, "When we open the doors, HANG ON! the pressure will suck you out. Make sure you BREATHE OUT, or your lungs will get sucked out your nose..."

I was laughing so hard, at the look on their faces, I fell out of the airplane.

I fell out of the airplane.

You did that on purpose, didn't you...*big grin*! Nope, not me, not unless someone knocks me out first! lol!

Of course I did it on purpose. My best buddy used to say, "I only make night water jumps. Everytime, I close my eyes and pee my pants."
