I hadn't heard this, I do know he was for reduced disability and health care benefits, and increased accountability in government services. I would have classified him as an economic conservative and social liberal.

Pim could have really made a difference had he lived. Strange as it sounds, I think he just may accomplish more through his death. Looks like we are watching the making of a legend.

Compilation of links about Fortuyn

Also more than 200.000 people signed the condoleance registers of www.pimfortuyn.nl and www.icondolement.nl. Also 100.000 e-mails were recieved by Radia 3FM, the radio station where Fortuyn was killed outside.
