President Bush, in the name of decency and patriotism, should bring back Daniel Patrick Moynihan and tell him to kick ass again against bigotry. Some three decades ago, when he was our ambassador to the UN, Moynihan was famous for his blunt truth-telling and lacerating denunciations of hypocrisy. Oh, how we need those qualities again!

Once that healthful exercise is over, the President should take the mike and announce that the U.S. is withdrawing from the UN — not quitting, but withdrawing for whatever time

The "withdrawal' and not quitting may be very politically correct, but I say a permanent withdrawal is at hand for the very survival of our country.

The UN has ALWAYS been the problem. It is a rat infested sewer of make work governmental corruption for hangers on and con men who cannot earn a real living. But this world will be ended before it is closed down or we leave.

What a dope. He still doesn't get it. Kofi and the boys are just symptoms of the disease. The UN is one of those things (like national medicare) that seems like a good idea but will eventually grow to devour everything in its path.

The problem is not the current Sec-Gen, the problem is the UN itself. Rosenthal says the US should withdraw for a time and keep paying its dues. Wrong, wrong, wrong. The US, UK, Canada, Austrailia, Israel, India and any other country with an ounce of sense should quit the UN, quit paying UN taxes, and boot the UN and all its organs out of their respective countries. Move the HQ to some garden spot like Mogadishu.

Why not get out permanently, and establish what could be called "Free United Nations." If your country does not have a democracy and free elections, you can't belong.

Then run the old UN out of this country and step back for the Free World to sign up.

A cleaner, smaller UN would be a club of the friends of freedom. It would lead us to a safer world. It would be a United Nations we could admire, not fear. And if we had to fight, we would be fighting alongside our real allies, with our enemies blocked from picking us off from the inside.

Dream on. The UN is structurally unaccountable and it starts with the Charter, essentially a communist document. It states that all rights are subject to the purposes of the UN, not unalienable, not superior to government, but disposable at a mere bureaucratic whim. The UN was started by communists, it is run by communists toward communist ends and the US and Israel are the targets of a carefully guided mob of corrupt dictatorships. That is the nature of democracy, whether of nations or of people. The population control and environmental programmes are anti-human and serve only the interests of the wealthy elites who can buy the NGOs that serve to institute policy by international law and the courts.

The purpose of the UN was to be a way to supercede the Constitution and enact an agenda of global domination, it was designed by Americans to enslave Americans and use our power toward ends destructive to us. It is a creature of the RINOcrat party and we should do everything we can to either return it to its role as a venue for negotiation or end it.

So let's hear it for the un-flag:
