Paul Collinson, a former Royal Engineers bomb disposal officer working for the Red Cross, said the devices he has found are identical to those he encountered in Northern Ireland. Isn't it just as, if not more likely that the IRA might have been getting its bombs from the PLO? It would be just like Arafat to export munitions produced with Saudi funds for a profit. Buying power through volume purchasing, don't you know.

I agree that makes a lot of sense...the PLO helping the IRA instead of the other way around.
But don'tcha think all the terrorists help each other out?

I think Saudi money and Arab distribution via immigration may be the common denominator. Remember that terrorists such as the IRA (on an island) have had relatively few options for weapons vendors over the last 30 years: communists (the East Bloc until ten years ago, mob manufacturing in Russia now, and China picking up where Russia left off), increasingly rare rogue manufacturers with poor distribution (South America, South Africa, Pakistan, etc.), and our friends the Arabs. They have immigrant representatives in every European country, a venue for secret meetings (mosques), a code (Arabic), and an independent, cash-based banking system.
It seems so obvious that the lack of reporting on it would appear complicit, as it likely is.

They have immigrant representatives in every European country... Not to mention this country and Canada...
a venue for secret meetings (mosques)
It is interesting that thousands of churches in Europe are now Mosques. It is happening here now too and they are so nice and "tolerant" of our beliefs until they become a majority.
a code (Arabic), and an independent, cash-based banking system.
And of course Arafat says the same things in Arabic as he does in English...yea rite. And a great deal of that cash still comes from the Saudis...don't "we" get it yet?
It seems so obvious that the lack of reporting on it would appear complicit, as it likely is.
LOL at appear and excuse my strikeout...

Thanks for the post. This is the most detailed overview I've read so far.
I agree with Carry_Okie and you about the PLO probably helping the IRA. The Saudi money and Arab distribution channel as described by Carry_Okie make a whole lot of sense.

Insofar as "appear" and "likely" are concerned, I am always willing to assume innocent complicity in the ubiquity of the self-deluding idiots in the media. Such are more useful than calculating liars, as they report their doctrinaire opinions with total sincerity, betraying no evidence of deliberate subversion. So in terms of total effect, I would put the larger fraction of the media omissions and bias to effective public schooling rather than calculated misinformation.
Besides, it's more amusing to have puppets begging for promotion to Dummy First Class than to manage a claque of ambitious back-stabbers.

An Israeli Army spokesman, Lt. Col. Olivier Rafowicz said Israel had proposed that Palestinian firemen be sent to put out the blaze, but that Palestinians inside refused, and were apparently then able to extinguish the blaze themselves.hehe.

Meanwhile, in a clearly orchestrated move, at the very same time that the military blockade was lifted on Arafat in Ram'Allah, the Palestinian gunmen holding hostages in the Church of the Nativity in Beit Lechem under Arafat's orders ignited fires in two places inside the church complex. He's using smoke signals or what?
Surely the cellphones needed charging? Or did they forget to cut the phone lines and just figured the loud noises they were blaring would do the trick?
Explain again the split-second timing? How does that work?

Surely, you jest. They have been in touch with Arafat all throughout the negotiations and have even said that without SPECIFIC instructions from him, they would not surrender. Arafat has a negotiating team right there.
Here is an example of how Ara operates. He tells his commandos that if they EVER hear him call for a ceasefire, THEY are to step up the attacks immediately. Yes, there is proof. And the media will not tell you.
Here is what media has not told anyone. And there is so much more.

Arafat has a negotiating team right there Arafat's negotiating team has some kind of carte blanche contact unwitnessed by anyone else or the Israelies in order to coordinate stunts like this?
Your drama -- on top of the ongoing Nativity Scene -- are a little much to bear sometimes.

Are the Israelies allowing the negotiating team to spirit away the "stolen goods" lifted by the Palestinians still inside? I don't understand.

Askel, your entire self delusion is too much to bear sometimes. You can't possibly be as utterly stupid as you appear.
