What is a human life worth? What are a thousand human lives worth? Paying the Arabs to leave Israel would save thousands of lives.

They do not want to go at any price.

Wave a 150k in their face and see how stiff that resolve actually is?

This seems like a nice, practical solution, but:
- Raw hate and emotion ensure continued violence.
- Hatred of Israel doesn't come from nowhere - it comes from the fraudulent teachings of Arab states, which use hatred of Israel as a distraction from their own troubles.
- What country in its right mind would take potential suicide bombers?
I'd be all for your solution if it would work, but it's strikingly similar to what you could do with Al Queda - think you could pay them money and have them go away?
Think again :-(.

Let me give you another analogy.
Let's say you have a boss who treats you unfairly.
He gives you a $150k raise, but still treats you unfairly.
Are you grateful for the raise, or still upset at him becuse of his treatment?
Odds are you like the raise, but it doesn't make you any happier about dealing with him on a day to day basis.
I believe this is basically how Palastinians think (albiet more strongly even than this).

The only currency they will accept for payment is Jewish blood.

Why Not Just Pay The Arabs/Terrorists Infesting Israel To Leave? Wouldn't they then not want to return... to get another $150,000?
Did you slip, fall, and hit your head?

I don't think the palis are analogous to al Qaeda. Even with al Qaeda I would warrant that 9 out of 10 of the rank and file could be bought off. The palis are a creation of the surrounding Arab states. They are not a real people and they have no national identity or true religious fervor.
As to the rest of the world taking in the palis .... there are a lot of poor countries who would take a family of five with $750 cash in their collective pockets in a heartbeat .... regardless of their politics.

Of course Israel would have to close it's borders to any return. Kinda goes without saying. Keep your derogatory comments to yourself and try and stick to logic if that's not too much to ask.

Yes, well, that would be my preference but doesn't seem to be within the realm of possibility given the world's present lack of righteousness.

I think this is true for Arafat and a few of his top leadership and the various other interlopers paid by Iran and Saudi Arabia. However the vast majority of palis would take the cash I bet.

Pincipled, you are CORRECT, sir!
If it's one thing a conservative should remember, it is that when you create income potential as a remedy for any perticular problem, the problem never remedies.
Might I suggest the "War on Poverty" as an exemplar?
Mercy, mercy! That was no snide remark....sense-of-humor: get one!

Lighten up, mercy. Nothing derogatory in my post.

I have had a similar idea; but, a little more elaborate. However, I think my idea would be less costly.
The US, EC, Russia, Saudi, etc. are supposed to get together this summer and work up a solution. So, here is my solution.
1-Let these concerned nations pool their resources and buy land in several Arab countries.
2-Build complete communities including schools, employment enterprises, job training, etc.
3-For those families transferring to these communities, give them a home, pay all moving expenses, a bonus of $1,000 and a minimum monthly living expense for two years.
4-Make job training and employment mandatory before the two years is up.
5-Many could be employed building these communities and be learning skills with on-job training.
6-Any Arabs in Israel proper could also be given this opportunity.
7-The West Bank (Judea & Samaria) and the Gaza Strip should then be ceded to Israel and recognized by all nations.
The Arabs calling the Temple Mount an Arab Holy place is a total Red Herring and should be recognized for what it is (The Jewish Temple Mount).
I believe enough would avail themselves of this opportunity that the hold-outs would finally go along with it.
These communities could then be held up as an example of what constructive solutions can do.
If they reject this plan this give them what they want... WAR with no holds barred.

Can you imagine all the little Palistinian children mangled and killed on the mined borders of Israel, sent there by their impoverished families to collect? The Israelis would be accused of fabricating a sneaky plan to commit innocent genocide. I believe it's called, in legal parlance, an attractive nuisance. And the Israelis would be accused of a crime against humanity, because the consequences should have been foreseen.

Are you sure the Palis want an all-out war? They would lose in about two minutes.
I rather surmise that they want continued recognition as an "oppress-ed pipples" to keep the money coming in from their allies, and into Yassir's treasury. Yassir remains in uncontested power as long as the niggling skirmish continues.
All-out war would be the quick solution to the problem, there would be peace, and the PA hacks would have to find real jobs. MTC
