I'll repeat the question again:

Wasn't all this supposed to stop under a Bush (Republican) administration?

Well, Bush-bots, where are you?

Not quite. If Bush acts like a liberal, land-grabbing socialist, and as a result loses the conservative vote, it will not be the end. If another Clinton gets in office, and the federal government continues the sprint towards tyranny, then the second revolution will began. I recommend you read some of Travis McGee's chapters.

Paraphrasing a famous quote: "It is too late too work within the system, but it's almost time to just shoot the bastards."

Well I do think he is working on it, not like he does not have a middle east crisis or a war going on! :-) But he has stood up for Klamath, and he is against the federal zoning, and we are tyring to get his attention on this issue! We will! Never fear!

Tom Deweese will be here Monday and Tuesday to attend two of the "meetings" and to help us organize for a national rally!

You make a good point. Is tyranny under a Republican administration any better than tyranny under a Democratic administration? Perhaps not, but my point is that we still have time at this point to change the course of tyranny without resorting to force of arms. (I may be wrong, but that is my belief at this point). We still can change the course of tyranny through the next elections cycle (Congressional and presidential). Following that, the elections will have become so corrupted that force of arms may be the only resort to return to a Constitutionally-based government.

I wish I could agree but I can't. There is only one thing that will change the direction this country is going, and it ain't pretty!
