I think the author is talking about someone like DONALD RUMSFELD. I get a kick out of Rummie when he gets pissed!

Same here, Saundra. Victory and freedom, indeed !!

Well, we wouldn't be fighting neighboring townfolk in my scenario, but the military instead. Still, my point was that it is no alternative at all that anyone wants any part of. That leaves the option of beginning the hard work of trying to convince people who have lived their whole lives adoring LBJ and FDR-type government to adopt an ideology much different.

My point is that if there is sufficient grass-roots support for the message, messengers will follow. The truth is that there isn't a big following for the message-- yet. Gore and Nader got a lot of votes in 2000. Many more didn't vote, but supported their positions on issues. We need armies of millions walking neighborhoods.

So I take it you're not going to see the new Spiderman movie this Friday?
To: The Green Goblin
I'll probably pass on Spiderman but I want to see THE ROCK's new movie! For victory & freedom!!!

Well, there's one example so far. I thought there'd be more thrown out there. Nevertheless, one candidate out of how many? It seems pretty clear there has to be some compromise to get votes. (I still hate it, but that's the way it is.)
