Morning all; just doing my check in here. Hope all is well for each of you. The count this a.m. stands at: 418,360. Quite impressive, Jeff, regardless of the fact that it has slowed. That's still almost half a million signatures-----It's surprising how so many people, from all over America, drew together and rallied behind this petition.......great job to you.

Thank you for those kind words. I am still amazed it took on the life it did and am grateful that the particular aboration it was directed against was derailed.

It's now at 418,410 and continuing to grow.

Now, if I could just get some small percentage of those folks to take interest in the message I am trying to send with my book series. LOL!

Seriously though, Breath of Fire is now rated as #1 under "Mystery and Thrillers" at Amazon on the Adobe Reader list (1 out of 419 titles) using the following link:

and #4 on the "Mystery and Thrillers" list at Amazon for the Microsoft Reader list (4 out of 596 titles) using the following link:

Although both of those are relatively small markets, both eBooks have maintained there rankings in the top ten on these two lists for the last two weeks now. This has all happened pretty much word of mouth with the only exposure on FreeRepublic and of late in Shotgun News.

Now if only the printed version on Amazon will experience a corresponding "bump". Oh well, guess we'll see what happens!

This thing is still running a respectable 100 per day or so. A good comment from a couple of days ago:

Revisionist history is politically incorrect. To give credit to persons who did not participate in the specific act which represents the American response to the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001, serves only to dilute the heroic actions by all that day. Every true American was represented by the actions of the firefighters in the photo. The people who want to 'culturally correct' that image are the same people who call for a color blind society. Practice what you preach. Let Americans - just as they were that day - represent Americans.
