Democracy in America is truly a great book.

Unfortunately, too few people have read it these days. That's why I decided to post this. Its long, but I think its a worthwhile reference.

I have a few copies of the book including an 1840's edition that I found mouldering in the attic of an antique store in Charleston, SC and bought for $1.

LOL! The democratic man wants it all quick and easy...Democracy in America is a substantial work--I would risk saying it's a touchstone to the proper political education--and must be read in it's entirety and thoroughly digested. The rewards are staggering, I assure you.
