It would take days to read this. Do you have a condensed version?

Democracy in America is truly a great book.
To: Marine Inspector

Democracy in America is truly a great book.Unfortunately, too few people have read it these days. That's why I decided to post this. Its long, but I think its a worthwhile reference.

Thank you for the clarification. I've always assumed that that was akin to blowing a Rasberry! Forgive my ignorance and thanks for the compliment.

Quotes compiled and organized by yours truly. Thanks for the compilation work. It's a great source of quotes.
I have a few copies of the book including an 1840's edition that I found mouldering in the attic of an antique store in Charleston, SC and bought for $1.

Do you have a condensed versionLOL! The democratic man wants it all quick and easy...Democracy in America is a substantial work--I would risk saying it's a touchstone to the proper political education--and must be read in it's entirety and thoroughly digested. The rewards are staggering, I assure you.

I urge you to read it. Its better that way than just reading a collection of quotes. The man was a brilliant observer and writer.
