I'll probably be heartily FLAMED for saying this, but the one time I've felt deep sympathy for Hillary was when she was so publically shamed by her husband. It could be my fanciful imagination, but I always wondered if there had ever been a young girl, very much in love with a charismatic outgoing man - who dragged her right off the right path and into his pit. Of course, she went along with him little by little. Or perhaps it was the other way around and she was the schemer. I have wondered about it some.

I think this article really does get to part of why this president is such a reassuring person.....he respects and highly values both men and women, sees both men and women and their concerns and opinions and work as vital to America's safety and health.

And the president is not condescending to ANYONE. His humility in his job, and insistence that what all of us do each day is very important reminds the nation over and over that WE are America, WE make it something unique and wonderful. And President Bush and his team are a part of that WE.
