Awais was killed in the West Bank town of Nablus, where hundreds of gunmen were battling Israeli troops in the downtown area, or Casbah, said Abu Mujahed, a spokesman for the Al Aqsa militia. OK, gotta be the first to say it....
Rock the Casbah!!!

Israel TV said Odwan was the mastermind of the March 27 attack at the start of the Passover holiday. IDF to President Bush:
We're Rolling!

"Odwan and five fellow Hamas militants terrorists were killed when Israeli forces converged on their hideout in the West Bank town of Tubas, Israel TV reported. Palestinian sources confirmed the raid and the deaths of six members of the Hamas military wing, and said Odwan was killed. "What a shame, but that's what happens when you get caught up in the "cycle of violence." Lather, rinse, repeat.

Just 2? C'mon IDF, you can do better than that! If CNN and NYTimes can find Hamas spokesman, you can. Go get him. Americans should be glad whenever any terrorist is killed or arrested cause if left to their own, they will be on our shores soon.

Israeli troops on Friday killed two leading Palestinian militants, including the mastermind of a Passover suicide bombing in Israel that killed 26 people and triggered Israel's current military offensive.... What a shame! (/sarcasm)
I am sure that this warms the cockles of Bush's heart, even if he can't smile too much about it in public. Still, it would be nice to hear him say publicly that he's glad that justice has been served.

Awais was responsible for scores of shooting and bombing attacks on Israelis in the past 18 months of fighting. The IDF seems to be decapitating the terrorists. Good plan. If the bombings continue, they can start working their way down the pallie ranks until there's no one left to order a bombing.
