Last known words to his camerman - "Wait a couple of minutes till we get a great shot."

Haven't seen it confirmed by anything independant yet. But if true, so? If you're stupid enough to enter a war zone, thinking that "press" badge is bullet-proof, you're an idiot. Of course, if proven true, we'll be given a barrage of "bad Israeli's" crap from the elite American press, who have already forgotten about the international observers assassinated by the Palestinian's just a few days ago.

Fox is reporting that he was shot in the shoulder after leaving the compound by a IDF sniper.
What the ^&*% are reporters doing in there. Do they think they are immortal?, or just above it all ?

They reported this on Fox News a little bit ago, but I thought they said he'd just been shot in the arm?

What are these reporters thinking? It would be like reporters storming the beach at Normandy and trying to get interviews with the German soldiers in the snipers nest.
This isn't Disneyland. Jimminy Crickets.
To: newsperson999
They should send all the Boston Globe people over there and put them in front of the compound. It is a just end for liberals.

I hope the injuries are painfull and fatal. It's traitors like these journalists that never report the pain of the vicitms of Islam be they in India, Israel, or elsewhere. Too bad more aren't shot!

IDF snipers don't miss. If they wanted this guy dead it would have been a head shot. It was just a polite warning (:^O

IDF sniper my arse. If the guy was close enough to see the sniper, then it wasn't a sniper at all. Otherwise he'd be dead.

They should send Christiane Amanpour over there now and tell her that Arafat is sorry he hung up on her and wants to give her an exclusive interview.

A mean thought, but accuracy in media would improve.
To: newsperson999
Maybe the Reporter was inside before the IDF attacked?
Could be.
Anyone know for sure?

It looks to me like someone took Accuracy in Media to mean Accuracy AT Media.

American journalist wounded in Ramallah
An American journalist was shot and wounded in Ramallah today, Israel Radio reported.
The reporter works for the Boston Globe, and was taken to a hospital in Ramallah after the IDF treated him on the field.
The incident came after the army decreed that Ramallah is a closed military zone. The IDF had called on all journalists to leave the West Bank city.
For more information on today's operations in Ramallah, click here.
