Um, what about Arafat's policy? What about the policy of Saddam Hussein to deflect world attention by stimulating this recent upsweep of terrorism with $25,000 cash bonuses. Why the allegedly "zionist controlled media" doesn't harp on this point is beyond me. Guess it undermines the purity of motive and cause.

With a doctorate in Middle Eastern studies, Linda Steinmann knows only too well the political cauldron that produces martyrs ready to blow themselves up for the cause. It beats the hell out of me. I'm something of the "black sheep" of my family for being "conservative/libertarian." Everyone else in my family is liberal... I used to believe that is was simply because they didn't have the facts, but when I'd present them with facts, the response was, "I don't care." Nothing that anyone could say would get them to change their minds.

I have a Luthern neighbor who is a democrat NOTHING you can show or tell him makes a difference even though he HATES affirmative action, quotas etc etc

There is also a democratic committee man who is Irish and the same way . He drives me goofy. Everything he hates the dems stand for, but he stays in the party
