Not me, I hate drugs. Now be polite as you have been asked to be, and take your issues debate to another thread.

Sounds like a threat to me, and a physical one too. Kind of the pot calling the kettle black don't you think?
Um, no that's not a threat. That is me pointing out that someone who is sitting behind a keyboard reading black and white text without having a chance to look into the persons eyes, listen to what they say, and evaluate all the other factors that we normally observe and judge in determining the credibility of a given person are missing. And, if you go up and read my quotes and my messages, I really think you would be hard pressed to call me an idiot, etc.
And I know for a fact that if we were sitting in a pub sharing some cold frosty Sam Adams, playing darts by the fire and talking about politics all night long, I'm sure you would not be calling me an idiot. That's the kind of personal insult you wouldn't make to somoene like me in person face-to-face, and which is why I wish that we could all talk like this in real life, not just on a cold impersonal web page.

I would just like to know why you picked this thread to attack GW?
You know what this thread is all about.....did you wait all day, I noticed you were johnny on the spot with your first post.

McCain, Jeffords and ENRON were responsible for the existence of CFR in its present form.
Folks, this bill HAD to go to the Supreme Court NOW while we still have enough Justices on it who value the Constitution, and settle this issue for the future. So, it is probably just as well that the process has begun.
To defend the Constitution from all sorts of assaults, we need to have our appellate judges confirmed. Currently half of the appellate court was nominated by Clinton.
I believe Bush had to make a decision to keep himself in a position where he could fight for a majority Senate for the second half of his term, a position that will allow him to appoint the appellate judges and Supreme Court Justices that are philosophically minded to defend the Constitution.
Remember it is going against an historic trend for a President to increase rather than decrease his support in the Congress during the off year elections.
If we don't get a majority Senate, the Democrats will block all his best appointments.
Like the Vietnam War, this was a damned if you do, damned if you don't decision in terms of consequences. The President made a tough call, one a lot of people aren't happy with, and time will tell if the strategery will work the way he is praying.

There are other threads where this can be debated. Name the place and we'll meet you there. CHeck out the thread on McConnell suit it has some good argument for and against! But for now. Please leave.

No kidding. And, since he/she registered all of one month ago it does make the motives a bit more suspect IMHO.
Rintense, could you please add me to your ping list? I always come and look but don't often comment and sometimes I miss it. Thanks much!

I don't like being a negative person when its not necessary. But forgive me If I am sickened by the first post. Right there, in black bold text, there are words from the president that are basically apologizing for signing the bill.
I'm sorry, but I have a really hard time understanding how true conservatives, true patriots, could not have a less-than-100percent-positive response to the Presidents words.
This is bigger than President Bush. This is about our Constitution. I'm sorry, but President Bush shocked me with his actions, and when I see a picture of him signing a bill he admits is wrong, I have a hard time posting something positive without pointing out my deep dissapointment.

I have read all of your posts here and don't take your own quote out of context. The part that implied a threat was:
"If you would like to meet in person.."
not nice

Just came by to say thank you for the daily dose, and stick my head in the sand. Maybe I'll drink a little koolaid while I'm here, if there's any left. (-:
May God Bless President Bush!

Please get it right. I didn't say you were an idiot. I said that what you said was idiotic (which it was), and I believe the word I used to describe you was "fool" which I subsequently took back.
Now go away, please.

And further, If you take the time to read MY posts, you will find that I never called anyone an "idiot".

Reasonable people, especially people on your team, deserve a lot more respect than that. Were you looking in the mirror as you made that statement?
You show up on a thread that is designed to celebrate our President and review his daily activities and you deliver a childish remark linking Campaign Finance Reform, the war on drugs, and the war on terrorism and you have the unmitigated gall to speak to someone about respecting people who are on your team?
Show a bit of respect and decorum, not to mention judgement.
To: KansasConservative
My other opinion is that his eyes are blue!Well, you are probably right about the blue eyes because Laura has said that they're blue. However, I would wonder why they look so darn brown or even green sometimes.
Having green eyes myself, I was rooting for green. **sigh**
To: jurisdog
And, if you go up and read my quotes and my messages, I really think you would be hard pressed to call me an idiot, etc.Again you miss the point. We are not INTERESTED in reading your quotes, or hearing your views. We are all intelligent citizens here, perfectly capable of making up our own minds, which WE HAVE ALREADY DONE.
Now go waste someone else's time. We have more important things to discuss here, i.e., the subject of this thread: PHOTOS.

The democrat plan of action:
PLAN A:
Intimidate the wavering House members to sign the discharge petition, using Enron as the boogeyman. Load the bill up with unacceptable sections so that Bush will veto it. We then can tar him with CFR and Enron, helped along by our friends in the media. This way he can't help the Senate campaigns of Republicans, and maybe we not only keep the Senate but gain the House.
OH, NO! He signed the bill after all!
PLAN B:
Start a whispering campaign in the press. Load up FR with fake "disillusioned Bush supporters who are looking for another candidate." Sucker in the press and talk show hosts by showing them how many conservatives are angry. Make McCain think there is a groundswell for a Republican primary challenge. Divide the party, depress the supporters, and maybe we can get PRESIDENT GORE!!
