Would they not be every bit as valid?

Miracles occur in the strangest of places......."Yesterday's Wine"

And after Lent, I can again say Alleluiah!

(I'm loving the religion threads this morning!)

Probably nothing less than it happening in an age where events such as this can be recorded and viewed by a majority.

The old doubting Thomas approach.

I used to think the same way -- until I learned that He has other ways of convincing us one by one.

I have a feeling it won't happen in my lifetime.

I doubt it as well. As bad as we are, we aren't even close to the state of the world when the pagans ran it.

Well, all I can say is watch for it anyway.

As Spock said to McCoy--"Remember."

I suppose that if the back entrance was not known to the soldiers, it's quite possible.

I disagree. As bad as they were, even they did not murder the most innocent of their people by the millions like we do today. Christians are still be persecuted (always will be), world gov't has never been closer to reality, and terrorists are killing thousands of people at once, just to show that they can.

I believe we are even worse off than when the pagans ran things.

None of them came back from the dead.

The pagans practiced child sacrifice and murdered unwanted infants. We may kill unwanted unborn children but we don't pull them from their mother's arms and throw them on the spit. They also killed people for entertainment purposes while reveling in debauchery.

We aren't even close.

Satan, the master deceiver, has been trying to disprove the resuurection Of Jesus Christ from the moment the spear was thrust into Jesus' abdomen. Satan is a smart and crafty adversary who choses to take as many down with him as he can, for he knows the time is short. He can use science, he can use the greatest of intellectual minds to help argue, discredit and prove his point. The swoon theory, the imposter on the cross, the dead but never risen misplaced body are all Satanic deceptions. Jesus Christ is either who he said he was or he is the greatest con man in history. He is who he said he is. As for me and my house, we will follow the Lord.

As I replied to #44, none of these claim resurrection.

It's more realistic to believe someone was murdered, than it is to believe someone came back from the dead.

None of them came back from the dead.

Stuart, that's exactly the point.

How will I know what to watch for if it's unknown?

It was a tomb , how many graves have escape hatches? They are built for those who are checking in and not checking out. Ask him to reveal himself to you and he will.
