Wouldn't a more accurate title for this article have been "ABC, Love and Sarah Brady?"
Unholster those weapons fellow gun owners and blast away.
To: What Is Ain't
"I tell you, he's still one of the smartest people I've ever known," says Sarah. "He never hardly ever misses a Jeopardy! question."I do believe you deal with "answers" on Jeopardy.
To: KurzeHaare
But already, Sarah says the Brady law has prevented almost 700,000 felons, fugitives and mentally ill people from purchasing guns.It stopped legal purchases, and it did NOTHING for crime. Of course, I'm preaching to the choir here...but wadda ya gonna do?
To: KurzeHaare
Well, there ya go....they're both just absolutely brilliant!

No mention that she broke the "Brady" law by buying a gun for someone else.

Prosecute and incarcerate Sarah for making a straw purchase of the hunting rifle ... illegal under DE law and therefore also under federal law.

She called the National Rifle Association and said, "I'm going to make my life's ambition to put you out of business..."
And how are we doing now?

They mention the purchase; they just don't mention that it was a "straw purchase".

More than slightly hypocritical, though.

Asked what the couple would like their message to be, Jim answers, "Learn to duck."
and Sarah answered Achtung... if the Government wanted you to have a firearm they would have issued you one!.....

Should have been titled......How I exploited my husband's near fatal shooting into a career and got rich....all the while making sure other America citizens were at risk.

"I don't believe in banning guns. I believe strongly that law-abiding, responsible citizens should be able to purchase guns."I'd love to know what her definitions of "law-abiding" and "responsible" are.

Typical idiot: She thinks a game show is a test of intellect.

But already, Sarah says the Brady law has prevented almost 700,000 felons, fugitives and mentally ill people from purchasing guns. Where are the convictions then?
To: What Is Ain't
I didn't realize how angelic Sarah Brady was - and here I've been all these years thinking that she was part of the "ruling class" that's the source of all this nations's problems!

The close captioning on last night's broadcast read
700,000,000.

It happens quite often.
