Wouldn't a more accurate title for this article have been "ABC, Love and Sarah Brady?"

Unholster those weapons fellow gun owners and blast away.

"I tell you, he's still one of the smartest people I've ever known," says Sarah. "He never — hardly ever — misses a Jeopardy! question."

I do believe you deal with "answers" on Jeopardy.

But already, Sarah says the Brady law has prevented almost 700,000 felons, fugitives and mentally ill people from purchasing guns.

It stopped legal purchases, and it did NOTHING for crime. Of course, I'm preaching to the choir here...but wadda ya gonna do?

No mention that she broke the "Brady" law by buying a gun for someone else.

Prosecute and incarcerate Sarah for making a straw purchase of the hunting rifle ... illegal under DE law and therefore also under federal law.

She called the National Rifle Association and said, "I'm going to make my life's ambition to put you out of business..."

And how are we doing now?

Oh drat. Now we're going to have Mr. Brady setting up a tobacco-prohibition mob :(.

They mention the purchase; they just don't mention that it was a "straw purchase".

Straw purchase? Let's be fair here - when you buy someone a Christmas present, it's not exactly a "straw purchase". I think. Does the law define gifts as "straw purchases"?

More than slightly hypocritical, though.

Asked what the couple would like their message to be, Jim answers, "Learn to duck."

and Sarah answered Achtung... if the Government wanted you to have a firearm they would have issued you one!.....

"I don't believe in banning guns. I believe strongly that law-abiding, responsible citizens should be able to purchase guns."

I'd love to know what her definitions of "law-abiding" and "responsible" are.

Which is contradicted by her web site that says ---"The Second Amendment is an anachronism...."

Typical idiot: She thinks a game show is a test of intellect.

I didn't realize how angelic Sarah Brady was - and here I've been all these years thinking that she was part of the "ruling class" that's the source of all this nations's problems!

The close captioning on last night's broadcast read 700,000,000.

My guess is that 99% of this number are people who have names similar to "felons, fugitives, and the mentally ill".

It happens quite often.
