I am a vegetable-rightist. I protest the senseless slaghter of millions of innocent broccoli plants. It's genocide, and no one is doing ANYTHING about it.

It's a good thing we eat lots of cows. If we didn't they'd rise up and form a bovine monarchy. So I eat as much meat as I can--dogs and pigs and squirrels, too. Sometimes I stack up the meat in a big pile like a leaf stack and dive in with a bottle of barbecue sauce. This has been a public service message from the Vegetable Rightists of America.

I'd pay good money to see the expressions on their faces as they try to come to grips with this! Vegetarianism always seemed comparatively secure: it actually made some sort of sense - and now the loss of that moral high ground is going to come as a sharp shock - no less because of the mental sprains that'll come with having to actually think about their beliefs again!
