Arlington, Mass. is a suburb of Boston.

Should have given him a chest massage and pumped all the blood out
To: Ronin
She should have killed him....
According to several court decesions - especially in that communist state, she can be held liable for inflicting pain and suffering on the perp.! He can actually sue her for damages!

Aim for the center of mass and keep pulling the trigger until they drop. If you get at least three off there is a good chance of a heart shot, spleen or major artery.

When I first saw the title [not noticing "Boston" or "Mass"], I figured it must be Arlington,
Texas. Then, I thought that maybe it was Arlington,
Virginia. But
Massachusetts??
Good shootin' and am glad she hit her intended target.

Boy, that Hooter's really did put Arlington, Texas on the map.
I was hoping it was Texas for the woman's sake. Since it happened in Massachusetts I think this lady is going to lose her gun.

On the positive side, at least she won't be indicted. No grand jury, even in Massachusetts, would vote against her.In Massachusettes there is a court case where a woman was convicted of murder for shooting a man who invaded her home. There was a legal duty the judge said for her to run escape from her home if possible. She may still very well be subject to arrest, prosecution and conviction for agravated assualt.
To say I do not think this law is just is an understatement but remember only Kennedy's have rights in that state.

Yes, she should have killed him. Now he can sue her for his injuries.

Odds are she will be arrested too for not having a permit... The lady was in her own home, defending herself -- and was properly licensed for firearms. That's probably the only reason she hasn't been arrested yet. I'm sure the D.A. is trying to figure out a way to prosecute her anyway. We'll see....

In Massachusetts, the woman will probably be prosecuted, and the burglar will sue for "assault".
