Do you think that the Canadians recent military prowress and resolve is directly related to their winning the mens AND womens hockey Gold Medals?

"In the Shahi Kot mountains, Canadian heroes from 3-PPCLI,"
I'm finally getting used to understanding the abbreviations. Heroes from Third-Princess Patricia's, Canadian Light Infantry.

Well, I've got tickets to an Islanders game next week..I may go and take a THANK YOU CANADA banner with me....probably some drunken yoyo will think I'm rooting for the Canadians or the Maple Leafs and beat me over the head with it...

Yup, the Taliban and al-Qaeda are cowering in terror in their caves. First from the roar of B-52s' jet engines, and now from the roaring "Eh, eh" of charging Canadian infantry...
Go English-speaking peoples! (grin) Woo-hoo! USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, and the UK, fighting together today against terror!

What is PPCLI, anyway? Division size, regimental size, or some other Imperial size unit?

...sounds like a metric battalion.
