Sorry for the multiple posts everyone. I was getting stuck at a "thread expired" error message page upon submission and believed that the post was not going through.
I have reported it.

"The Government's reluctance to confirm the presence of members of the SAS in Afghanistan has been based on a desire to minimise the risk to those serving overseas and to their families left behind." Gawd what a pile of Kiwi crap.
You'd think she'd make it clear that she was proud of the SAS being there.

You're giving her way too much credit. As I read it, she doesn't want to protect the soldiers, she's talking about other countrymen outside of the country who might be targeted by terror.

,,, "the public arena" - meaning the idiots who voted this Marxist into her position; those to whom she's accountable. "Too many petticoats in Parliament" as a [female] senior citizen said to me two days ago - only Klark likes to wear the pants.
To: Harp
,,, Klark is off to Washington soon for no constructive reason. It will be a what the media here is already calling a photo opportunity. She's hell bent on maintaining the no-nukes policy and keeping New Zealand out of any defense arrangements with Australia and the US. We move closer to the UN every month with her efforts.

Ha! Does anyone else think Clark was 'ashamed' to admit NZ's involvement because it makes her look like a warmonger??? She should be proud that NZ is helping- and so should the Kwiws. But of course, I'm sure she knows better than most Kiwis.

,,, there would be noteable disparities in what she's doing over what the country wants if a referendum was run on the issue of defense. She thinks she has a mandate for everything.

"'Too many petticoats in Parliament' as a [female] senior citizen said to me two days ago - only Klark likes to wear the pants."
Giggle, giggle. God, can you believe that she is polling at 46% as preferred prime minister? I mean, really, she has done nothing but embarass us on an international level since she was elected. At least she is consistent I suppose.
Or rather, perhaps she is not consistent. Having been out of the FR loop for a while I don't know if you have had a thread about her wearing pants to the State dinner with the Queen but OH MY GOD. If that had been Maoris she would have been blessing rocks for 1/2 an hour and wearing a flax skirt, if tradition had demanded it. By wearing pants to that dinner she degraded the Queen and the Queen's traditions and culture. One must be 'PC' about people with dark skin. If you are white however, then f**k your culture. Good one Helen.
