Don't be too surprised to see Karenna run for some public office soon. She finds life as the wife of Dr. Sniff rather dull and she needs something to spice things up for her. Perhaps Karenna could also take over Tabitha Soren's old slot on MTV.

If Tipper runs, I bet we could get Howard Stern to support Republicans ASAP! This is the type of break we need!

Ain't seen hide nor hair of albore to mend fences in Memphis since the election...but then again I'd not want to subject myself to boredom.

Tipper gets my vote to wear an Orange jump suit. She can really clean up Tennessee's roads then.

Tipper Gore isn't qualified to be dog catcher, let alone a US Senator.
In the "big picture", what we're seeing here is the emergence of a ruling poltical class of "elites" where family name trumps all else.
We've seen it with the Clintons, the Bushes (don't forget about George P. Bush, who is being groomed to be a future "ruler"), and now the Gores. There are other examples too, like Chaffee in Rhode Island, and Carnahan in Missouri.
Those people truly think that they have a "divine right" to rule over us serfs.

Well, OK, your numbers seem pretty sensible, except I view Minn as a tossup. The GOP has a quite sensible alternative to Wellstone. I would give Thune slightly higher odds. I don't have a good feeling about Missouri though, unless Carnahan exudes lack of knowledge in debates or on the trial and messes up. She can push the rural thing versus the St. Louis corporate lawyer slicker.
Is there a possibility Inhofe can be tanked? He comes across as a distinctly unloveable personality to me. He seems wound up really tight. Both my moderate liberal brother and I have him on our least attractive senator list, putting aside, somewhat but not entirely, ideology.

I hope not, because she loves homos so much

I know of two polls on the Walters-Inhofe race. One showed Inhofe up by 13. Another showed him up by 8 (if I read it right, this may have been a typo in the Oklahoman.) Walters will have money.
