After watching yet another high tech lynching of an honorable man, it is a wonder why anyone would agree to go through this brutality.
Despicable behavior has become the norm for democrats, who prefer their party and power over decency and justice.
I just want to know why in the hell the damned Bush administration chose to be mute about Pickering until the last minute! Bush didn't fight for his nomination and waited until the 11th hour to slam the democrats over their partisan politics.
Bush is a seasoned enough politician who has surrounded himself with experienced people who know the ropes in Washington. They all know how the game is played and for the life of me, I can't understand why they CHOSE to fumble!
Unless Pickering agreed to be gutted and gilled in public, Bush may have a very hard time finding the next victim/nominee. Why would anyone volunteer for such treatment, only to be left abandoned by the very man whose support is crucial to the process?

You know what would be more wonderful? If they people of NC kicked him out of office next election. Too late I guess, he's running for President...
I am hoping we can follow the lead of the South Dakotans, and pass a law preventing a candidate from running for both offices at once.

Did someone offer the baby-faced shyster a percentage of the take?

Edwards will be on Fox News Sunday to tell us why he can trash good people in order to make special interest groups love him.

LOL......you just want him out of the state!
As they say on the radio here in Raleigh, we don't have a senator anymore, we have a candidate.
