Any and all of Bush's judicial appointments will be opposed by the far left in the Senate, and their outside smear and hate mongers such as PFAW. We must simply stand up to their lies, and arm ourselves with the truth. Read the articles listed above by Stand, Watch and Listen, and vociferously attack liberals that repeat the PFAW frauds. Let them know how the truth works, something they are both afraid of and secretly feel guilty about. Leahy is a liar, and should be expelled from the Senate for his corruption and leaking of national security information. If the standards listed in the above article were uniformly applied, Senators Byrd, Hollings, both former Senators Gore Sr. and Jr., and Hillary and Bill Clinton would all be either deemed racist or supportive of racist causes. But facts mean little to the far left and organizations such as PFAW, which makes taking them for anything other than either idiots or criminals very difficult.

I am so glad tha pickering opposed Roe vs Wade He is my choice since I oppose it. No judge in the land has not had to have an opinion on the subject. The Bleeding Liberals want the court to remain in the Clintonite vain, "let the bad guys go", after all He and Hillary defended the FALN and the Black Panthers, maybe we need judges who will let the country fall on its ear. Pickering a good man, and W's choice, hes got my vote, Lets back Pickering and hit our senators with emails. Ops4

His actions over the past decade as a federal judge and his long public record before that reflect a troubling lack of committement to fundimental civil and constitutional rights principles."

The statement above could be used against anyone at anytime, anywhere. It covers a broad awray of accusations. Accusations abound against Pickering but I have yet to hear anyone pick (one) and explain in detail just what the hell this man did that was so "racially" disgusting that they would want to destroy this man.

The only thing I was able to find our for sure came from Mississippi, a black reporter kept harping, and harping on something Pickering had said or done, an idea he may have had back in 1959. She would not shut up about.

Metger Evers, remember him? He was a civils rights lawyer, his brother Charles was there trying to explain to this woman about the kind of man Pickering is today, he even went into detail of what this man (Pickering) has done for the civils rights movement and how hard he has worked for Blacks against the KKK. This Black reporter was bying none of this, she still harped on what may or may not have been said by Pickering in 1959.

I see the NAACP and the Black Causus tearing away at this man, but I have yet to hear any of them give a damn good reason, one shredd of evidence that this man has ever done anything but good and right for the Black Communities and people of Mississippi, the state where Blacks and Whites stand behind Pickering.

Any group, any person can make "accusation", but theirs is so broad they make no sense, they could be talking about anyone, they should be made to pick a particular situation and explain just what it is that Pickering has done that they hate him so much, or they should shut their faces and clean up their own "racist" behavior.

Just my opinion.

These last two are probably their BIGGEST two beefs--

"*Pickering has opposed Roe v. Wade and the Equal Rights Amendment. He was chair of the Republican Party platform committee that first added an anti-Roe plank to the party platform. His strident anti-choice position is especially troubling in the 5th Circuit, where women’s reproductive rights have already been eroded.

*He has inappropriately used his position on the bench to promote involvement in religious programs by people before him for sentencing."

Hardly left-wing, seeing as over 80% believe in God/religion and over 80% oppose partial birth abortion.

These are the 'People Against the American Way', not for it, IMHO.

Oh, Plllllllllease, give me a break, the majority of Americans have shown that they oppose "killing" innocent babies. And if I am not mistaken, I think that should put millions of us at the top of their hate list.

"He has inoppropriately used his possition on the bench to promote involvement in Religous Programs by people before him for sentencing."

He used God as an example for good behavior, ok, I guess he deserves to be lynched for this, did they give any "specifics"? Any particular case, any person that came forward and stated that they were forced into a Religous Program against their will?

"PEOPLE AGAINST THE AMERICAN WAY" Why am I not surprised, these people fly their own Red, Black and Green flag, why are they dictating who sits under the Red, White and Blue?

I wrote an e-mail to my Senator (Jean Carnahan) to try to get her on board with Pickering. Tomorrow, I will call her local St. Louis office.

I imagine the other 83 Senators could put a certain amount of pressure on the 10 obstructionists to bring the nomination of a 'full Senate' vote. Go for it.

Just called Senator Feinstein's office (AGAIN) requesting the 'full Senate' hearing.

They put off the vote each of the first two times.

FORCE them to vote, knowing that AMERICA is watching.. so often we let them get away with things because they are counting on the fact that so many Americans THINK they are wasting their time...

We MUST not give up on this.... Keep the pressure on YOUR Senators to bring this vote to the FLOOR for a vote by the FULL senate !!!

DO NOT allow Sen. Leheay and his fellow LIBERALS on the Judiciary Committee to prevent this vote from going to the floor!!!

Advise and consent means 100 Senators not 10 !!!

Sign PETITION to SUPPORT Judge Pickering...

CLICK here for "Mail Blaster" .. E-mail ALL U.S. Senators/Congressmen, and a variety of NEWS organizations in a single easy step..

Let them know that Judge Pickering deserves a vote of the FULL Senate UP or DOWN by ALL 100 Senators...!

Then PRINT the entire Petition and FAX it to YOUR 2 Senators !!
