NATO troops? In Montana?

With all the nuttiness aside, I ask but one simple question: Who, if anyone, on this planet would the NY times refer to as "Far-Left"?

I know for a fact these people were not planning to kill these people. They were just getting intel on local officials just the same as the government does on people it distrusts. As far as owning so much ammo and weapons, there is nothing wrong with being prepared. Last time I checked the military keeps millions of rounds of ammo and thousands of nukes in peace time. If the government followed the constitution it would have nothing to fear.

Any article that employs the tired "thousands of rounds of
ammunition" (About $19.00 worth at the local China-

the militia's leader [w]as David Earl Burgert, 38, whose last known job was renting snowmobiles, who could often be heard carping about judges on a local right-wing radio station and who has a long history of being annoying.

Based on this allegation, I wonder if the reporters at the New York Times are going to be charged with being co-conspirators?

"NY Times is considered a legitimate military target."

They have made it clear they hate freedom loving Americans, so yes they are legitimate targets for us to hit ;-)

This guy looks like an idiot. What can be said about an idiot? Sometimes they can be useful. What do you want to bet that this guy, and his militia buddies have a fed in their group telling them what to do? I mean, a good leader of a militia, doesn't do stupid things to attract attention or scrutiny. In Illinois, there was a guy with a similar story, who was a total retard, and because of him, that militia was disbanded.

There are people who are specifically assigned to watch and infilitrate militia groups. These people also are agent provocateurs. They help create situations that cause hysteria, and public distrust of anyone affiliated with a militia. This is all non-news, and just another reason for the media to label anyone who owns a gun, or has ties to a militia a freak, or a psychopath just waiting to go off.

It's all a load of crap. This guy is a moron, and he got used by the media and they got what they wanted.

I believe Larry Elder pondered the same of the LA Times; Lexis-Nexis could only find two references. One was Joseph Stalin, I believe.
