Actually, the no-no is wearing white *after* Labor Day. :-D Is this before this year's Labour Day, or after last year's?
It's a no-no to wear white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. In Afghanistan I would suggest not wearing white at all. Too visible

"But do those SUV's average 37 miles per gallon as Sen. John F. Kennedy er..Kerry demands for the new CAFE standards?"No, that is why they were offed. Otherwise, the DemocRATS wouldn't have allowed it.

You folks sure on that? I know he has not been heard from in over 2 months, which is strange because he likes to hear himself talk, but do we have evidence that he is dead? And remind me, what happened on Dec. 13th?
To: RightWhale
So I guess that we are waiting for the right time to bring this out, right?

well Osama may have been already killed, but I think it is a good idea to do it again, you just can't kill AlQuaida enough as far as I am concerned. Oh heck, lets just kill him over and over like that kid on South Park.

Anybody here, seen Usama Bin Laden
Can you tell me where he's gone
He killed a lot of people
The good, the old, the young
We just looked around, and they were gone
Anybody here, seen Usama Bin Laden
Can you tell me where he's gone
I thought I saw him marching
Through caves and hills to Iran
With Mullah Omar, Atef and Swedam
Didn't you know we would bomb all his houses
And didn't you know he would cry
Didn't you know we could never forgive him
And didn't you know he would die
Anybody here, seen our late friend, Bin Laden
Can you tell me where he's gone
I thought I saw him screaming in pain and on fire
With Mullah Omar, Atef and Swedam

Thanks. Interesting!

A chance we get Bin Laden, but all I see is Enron BS. Sad.

Since Monday's raid, the Pentagon has been trying to put a commando team on the ground to identify the bodies but bad weather has made it too dangerous to fly a helicopter in the mountainous terrain. But I read on CNN's web-page that the Predator was a useless boondoggle. It couldn't fly in rain, snow, cold or high wind and it could not pinpoint targets. It was all right there in this story:
Pilotless U.S. spy plane plagued by shortcomings
CNN couldn't be wrong, could they. Oh, my whole world is spinning!

The New York Times is reporting that the name of a New Jersey man whose whereabouts are unknown has turned up on what appears to be a recruiting list used by pro-Taliban militants.
Hiram Torres has reportedly been out of touch with his family since 1998,...
This kid is local to me, from Perth Amboy, NJ. I heard some radio interviews, where they interviewed this guy's classmates from High School. Apparently he was the Valedictorian, and people remember him well.
You know how the interviews always are "He was such a nice boy, who ever would have suspected!...". Well the people interviewed on the radio all said, "Yep, old Hiram, we knew this would happen. He's been a nut-case from way back!"
I think things have changed in this country.

do we have evidence that he is dead? No evidence, but an eyewitness account of the death and burial, plus the PM of Pakistan --Musharaff's-- opinion, who seems to be a straightforward person [could be wrong, too.]
There may never be evidence.
To: stboz
Psst!! Hey, Osama!! Want to see yourself on TV?" Smile! You're on Candid Camera.
To: RightWhale
What did the eyewitness of the burial say? How did he die and where is the body? (Or is there a body?)
