It's kind of interesting to post stuff like that, but the reality is that I know some SAD parents. In one case the kid has to call one of them "mom" and the other one "mommy." Of course, anecdotal evidence isn't everything but their entire treatment of the child shows they are more interested in what he offers to them (a source of love, a source of validation, etc) than what they offer to him (a chance to grow into a well adjusted adult).

Of course, heterosexual parents make mistakes too, but the whole point is whether the framework exists, not whether the people make mistakes. And I still believe that, no matter how wonderful (or horrible) a particular individual is - like the man in your picture - a SAD relationship is not a framework that can result in a well adjusted adult.

So, no. I don't think he would make a good mom, or a good "other dad" or whatever. He might, however, make a fine father if married to a woman.

He's also a lousy model, IMHO. But then, when looking at people in bathtubs I tend more toward the Mrs. ArGee type.

Shalom.
