The kidnapped Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was a friend of Arabs and Muslims and often supported their cause, says a former editor of the Asian edition of the newspaper. If this is true then it's no loss if they kill him.

"Muslims are not terrorists. That's worth repeating. Terrorists are terrorists, and they can come from any religion, culture, nationality. " Right. It's just one of those freak amazing co-incidences that all the hijackers were Muslims, that Richard Reid is Muslim, that the Palestinian suicide bombers are Muslim.....

Gotta to agree with Pearl on at least one matter - the bombings of a pharmaceutical plant by Clinton was a black eye to the US (along with just about everything else the Clinton Administration did)
Pearls politics aside, he is an American and a civilian, if these terrorists need to be found and killed for the benefit of all. Anyone who targets civilians (Clinton included) should face the same fate.
And before anyone starts slamming me for the above paragraph, I'm NOT talking about civilians who are killed during proper military strikes, rather I'm talking about terrorists who target civilians specifically.

....and that's it? No other forms of terrorism? No Timothy Mcveigh, no IRA, no ETA?

I am hoping this article is just a ruse to convince his kidnappers to release him, and not a true evaluation of his sentiments.

Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists. Around the world you will find the Muslims are with the terrorists.

Since I am not the religious scholar that you are, maybe you can look up the passages that I am talking about.I'm not religious either, but I'll take a stab at it:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you...
Love thy neighbor...
Turn the other cheek...
Am I gettin' warm?

Valerie, I wasn't talking about tolerating terrorism or siding with anyone. I just said there were other terrorist groups around the world as well.
As for Muslims, should I be careful whenever I buy fruits and vegetables at the local store where the Albanians sell it? :)

Care to list the quotes you just mentioned.

Appealing for his release, Pearl's former boss said "the Arab and Muslim world has no greater in American media than Danny Pearl." I know they are desparate. Negoitiating with terrorists (groveling) by promising to be their friends is not profitable. Responding with overwhelming force is a better strategy for the greater good. I ask the LORD God of Israel to intervene and spare the life of Daniel Pearl.

If this is true then it's no loss if they kill him.Shame on you. Of course it is a loss, and his wife is pregnant. He is not a terrorist and he is an American, albeit misguided in his politics.
To: nopardons
Now, I hope that they DO kill him.You are calling for the death of an American citizen at the hands of Islamic terrorists. What does that make you ?
To: kattracks
"Hope he learns to choose his friends more wisely. If they don't kill him."
A couple of his WSJ family have been interviewed on 'Fox'; saying in their 'inadvertant Liberalese'; the same thing. . .
I hope as well, he survives his 'enlightenment'.
On the other hand, he could return, more committed. . .

[Surah 3 Line 151: We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust - You were saying?]
'terrorist' reality bump. . .

I too pray that Pearl makes it out alive, but if this article is true, I hope he "sees the light" about Muslim fanaticism as a consequence of his experience.

Reminds of my teaching days in the inner city of Detroit where I worked with guilt-ridden Jews, communists, and leftists of all sorts who always had a kind word for black rapists, killers, junkies and other assorted filth.
Their excuse making and pardoning was enough to make you retch, until one day, while they were leaving school they were robbed and beaten, or had their car stolen or broken into, or were raped.
All of a sudden their bleeding liberal hearts changed.
All depends on whose OX is being gored!!!!!!!!!!!

Exodus 23:27 -- "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run."
Proverbs 21:15 -- "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."
I Samiel 15:2-3 -- "This is what the LORD Almighty says: `I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'"

But I recall phrases within the Christian Bible of equal or greater magnitudeYou don't have to be a scholar to look up your alleged quotes.
Here. Bible Gateway search engine
Very easy to use, eleven different translations, word and passage search, nineteen different languages, including English and Arabic. Let's see the passages where Christians strike terror into the hearts of unbelievers.
