I am sure Clinton is watching this tonight on his TV thinking that he could do a better job! That same thought occurred to me, too. When W talked about the price of "indifference" and "failure to take action" against the threat of terror, I just imagined that the toon had to be fuming.

GW ENTERS ROOM RIGHT AT 9:11Good catch!
Is this an FR exclusive?

Dubya loves the US but he loves people. It was a stroke of genius to have Karzai here along with the Afghan female minister of women's affairs. I almost lost it when he told the tale about the boy who lost his dad in 9-11 and he left a note with his football for dad to save in heaven for someday. And it was very symbolic that Mr. Karzai was seated next to Mark Spann's widow. Dubya has lost weight though probably for a number of reasons.

BEST LINE OF THE NIGHT:
"For too long, the motto of this nation was 'If It Feels Good, Do It.' Now it is 'Let's Roll!'"

Brilliant observation !

Actual quote:
"For too long our culture has said, 'If it feels good, do it.' Now America is embracing a new ethic and a new creed: 'Let's roll.'"

Yes, and it sure was nice to see the Good Guys all seated in the places of importance on the podium. Not a 'Rat so be seen in all of those camera shots. In all the times past, there was always a 'Rat around to spoil the scene. Even during RWR's terms we had to put up with O'Neill's ugly mug scowling down at Reagan. Even when we had Congress during the '90s the best we could do was have Gingrich or Hastert up there with Klink or Goron. This year's was a much better tableau.

Remember when he mouthed "I honor you" to her. She sat in her box like a stone statute.

Might be an
FR Exclusive....haven't seen it anywhere else...
Sitting there watching everyone else being brought it by the [sic] Sargeant-at-Arms, that wrapped up about 9:08:30, coupla minutes pass & still no GW, figure "What are they waiting for?", glance at my watch & see 9:10:45....immediately suspect the (to me) obvious....sure enough GW comes through the door-frame at 9:11:00.
Classy guy, that GW !!
