Almost all investors are more afraid of a major loss in value than they are of a major loss of opportunity.
Over the past two years, I think I've 'enjoyed' both of these situations...LOL, and looking forward to better days in the future.
Invest to earn SOME money on the way up; avoid MAJOR losses; don't get greedy; and be patient.
We'll all have ENOUGH money, just not as much as somebody else we know :>)
Always remember the MONEY VALUE OF TIME is more important than the TIME VALUE OF MONEY. 2x :>)
Tell me now. What will the market be like in say oh, 10 years? hmmm how bout two?
Never mind you can't, someone is always left holding the bag, it will be you, or maybe you will be one of the lucky ones... I heard that people once used to use worthless stock as wallpaper, maybe, oh yeah, you don't even get certificates anymore.
Scam I tell you...grumble grumble.
This isn't just incompetence. People, more than a few, are going to go to jail for what happened at Enron.
