Maybe its like one of those "Fake ID Twins" type of jokes...............
I started the misspelling so I'll answer your question.
He doesn't deserve the time to look up the correct spelling. It was bad enough listening to him.
How do you spell self-inflicted-torture?
Blame the American people. Until his ratings drop Maher will still be on the air.
I agree the idiot has a right to express his stupid opinions. However, I think the major problem I had in the past, the half-dozen times I watched and again last night, is how utterly uninformed he is. Several times last night his guests disagreed with something he said. He looked shocked and didn't have a clue as to how to respond. He has his notes and if the discussion strays he's clueless.
Last night he made fun of the tax rebate checks of $300 and what little that helped people and then started talking about how his bills and money are sent to his money managers. How stupid! Like the average American has a money manager to take care of collecting and paying bills.
I have have less trouble with his "opinions" than I have with his stupidity.
Maher is a jerk. That' said, how does a person spot a lurker?
Heh. I could have said that better. What I meant
was, he wouldn't lurk. And if he posted, his Clintonophilia
would be a lightning rod.
It's always funny to see things like that.
I remember Johnny Carson once joking about a hotel so bad that they had some wire coat hangers in the hotel. He said that he didn't know where they came from and made clear that he really didn't know that they came from dry cleaners.
Or consider George H.W. Bush not knowing an automatic super market checking price reader.
Or Al Gore saying that it had been so long since he drove a car that he had sort of forgot how to do it.
One forgets how unreal the lives of some people are.
