RINO? I believe you have Dr Keyes confused with John McCain or Olympia Snowe.
You do know who Alan Keyes is, right? If he is damaging the "pubbie" party by being one of the few conservative voices of reason out there then maybe the "pubbie" party has left (no pun intended) the conservatives behind.
BTTT
Leave out the word egotistical and you are describing a politician which is what he was (and hopefully will be). Or didn't you notice?
Another BUMP!
I don't like Alan Keyes. I don't like his ego, his style, or his gratuitous slaps at President Bush (there are ways to be critical without sneering, being insulting and condescending, but he can't do it), but I'd like to see him debate a few people. First on my list would be Leo Terrell.
Think about it.
Cheers,
Richard F.

I've always thought that Keyes would shine if only he got more than a table scrap of coverage from the mainstream media.
I had a chance to speak with him over dinner when he came to my university last year. He's just as much of a statesman in the company of college students as he is on a podium. We conservatives need to rally around legitimate conservatives and not try to find ways to attack them - the liberals will do that well enough on their own. Not to mention, I can't wait until the liberals DO start to attack him. It will only draw more attention to him.
Great, I have a few questions for Dr Keyes:
1) Why do you hate George W. Bush?
2) How come you never attack Tom Daschle?
3) If your call for ban on all stem cell research causes more stem cells to be harvested from fetuses, are you prepared to call yourself "evil"?
I don't think my phone will be ringing.
IT'S ABOUT TIME! AMERICA NEEDS TO HEAR ALAN KEYES!!!
YEAH!
Hey, good one.
Look, none of us know. This is an opportunity to get air-time. Air-time=popularity. Keyes has dropped off the map and needs........dahh....popularity. The way I figure it, the more people that hear Keyes, the better.
I personally, think the world of Alan Keyes. I believe in what he says and his fundamentals (nice term hey).
PS: I am NOT snookered by any politician, but just listen to this man.
Agree 100 percent, NO.
Agree 70 to 80 percent, YES.
Now, you go get that with any other politician.
Folks are used to seeing Dr. Keyes of late in a combative situation as a guest on these shows. If you've ever seen him guest host O'Reilly, you'll know that he has a great delivery and demeanor. He makes a great host -- yet this show will not be like O'Reilly's show. This one is fashioned by Dr. Keyes. MSNBC has given him complete control over content on this live show. He has the complete freedom to be himself!
Regards.
Nope. Walter Williams is the economic whiz! Dr. Keyes got his Ph.D from Harvard in Governmental Affairs. His dissertation was on Alexander Hamilton and the Federalist Papers.
Good to see you!
This show is not about the breaking news cycle. This show is about, once the facts are in, stepping back and examining the issue to get to the core principle of the dilemma. It's really going to be different, Torie. I hope you'll be watching! You KNOW I'll be hoping you'll become a Keyes fan yourself! LOL
Hugs.
