I too was wondering about the format. My feeling was that the show needs to be an educational exposure of issues of principle (perhaps tied to current events) rather than rousing/argumentative debate. This format seems to do just that.
Looking forward to seeing the show. Do you know if it will appear on CNBC (don't get MSNBC)?

This is really great. At last we will have someone on TV who believes in the Constitution.

Ah......that's the secret, huh? When ya play it backwards, do you change it from LP to SLP? Any special audio settings? By playing it backwards and accepting that as gospel, does it me I'm going to convolute everything else, like you know......oh, you know....?
Pssssssttt....how'd ya find out the secret? Who squealed in a weak moment?

"If you have so much faith in Bush, then why do you care so much about a guy who cant even finish third in a three man race. Isnt he irrelevant compared to Mr 90% approval rating, unless of course you know that Bush's conservatism is pretty vacuous and will be exposed. If Keyes is able to do that in a national setting, Bush wont find anyone to vote for him." You are either a very sick lemming or one very ignorant fool. Keyes adds not one damn thing to the political debate unless it furthers his own, egotistical agenda.
He's worthless to any real cause because he has virtually ZERO CREDIBILITY with the voting masses. His rhetoric feed dreamers, and dreamers feed self-serving egos. He runs in the same class as Jesse Jackson, or those two fools from Georgia (John Lewis) & New York (Major Owens)!

They should have left Rita Crosby, in that time slot, I thought she was a pretty good interviewer, and getting better. Now.... I will go to MSNBC at 10 p.m. est.

Isn't this great news? Yes, it is! Voted for Alan in the 2000 primaries; although I absolutely LOATHE MSNBC (and TV in general), I'll be in the audience for this show. Best wishes, Dr. Keyes!

". I would also add that hopefully he will not maintain his collegiate verbal delivery, but modify his approach to appeal to a dumbed down audience. "When a Keyes' speech or article is paraphrased in commonly used language, it becomes obvious that he hasn't really said anything of value.
Keyes is a wordsmith, that's all.
But I will watch the show and wish him well.

Richard, this truly is good news for those who have wanted a deeply conservative voice that is unafraid and quite capable of stating and defending those positions. Probably what will irritate the liberals and the faint of heart RINOS is that he doesn't have to call upon his religious beliefs, though he certainly has them, to make the case for our nation's founding principles.
The format that CAL listed sounds quite interesting. And the ability of bring the listeners into the program via phone calls should make for very interesting times.
I'm hopeful that on one or some of these shows, there is some conversation about the Declaration of Independence....surely we'll see you participating in that one, yes? :)

Good news, indeed!
I look forward to a series of interesting, informative and stimulating shows. Dr. Keyes is able to articulate the conservative message better than any living person, and I, for one, am delighted.
Dr. Keyes will get our message out in a way that is believable and understandable by many people who are continually misled and confused by the Liberal/Socialist/Marxist liars in government and the press.
More important, by shining the spotlight of truth on the PC crowd, Dr. Keyes will contribute immeasurably to a restoration of the founding principles of this great country.
Congratulations to all who made it happen. I am eagerly looking forward to the first show.

Remember when Fox would not let Drudge show the picture of the unborn baby reaching out of the womb during surgery. Drudge resigned over the issue.

Thanks so much for the 9 bumps so far. Are we going to try to make this a thousand responder thread?
Continue with your racist prattling (see 224) as folks who are interested in what the Doctor has to say will continue to dispel any liabilities you attempt to place in front of lurkers.
Have a great day....and don't let your computer freeze up or your ISP toss you off. 'kay.

I've been waiting for this announcement. Congrat's to Ambassador Keyes. I wish him luck. Drat, CAL, now I HAVE to get cable!!!!

Keyes will go head to head with Greta Van Sustern on FoxNews during that time slot. Ailes should've hired Keyes instead of raiding CNN just to get them back for hiring away Paula Zahn...

Great! Will watch him once for his debating skills ...but not for his somewhat arrogant personality. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
To: CounterCounterCulture
You can handle it Triple C. The nice thing is you don't really have to watch, just listen - pretend it's a radio and keep on Freeping and joining us on Paltalk.
To: Clinton's a liar
This is a good sign that maybe Alan Keyes will show the liberal buffoons the truth and they will switch over to Fox News after hearing him on the liberals network channel! This ought to be good and Alan knows how to channel the truth, unless of course he has liberal hosts who will conveniently override what the good ambassador says! Time will tell!
God speed to you, Alan Keyes! Grassontop

ALAN KEYES...well, you're going to get a few people here who will FORGET that he's done a radio show and KNOWS how to work a talk show...and those who want nothing more than to see Dr. Keyes utterly destroyed for daring to express disagreements with President Bush. (They've even gone so far as to attempt to "read between the lines" to see how his patriotism and love for America can be brought into question.)
I say...fahgeddaboutem!!!
BUMP for Dr. Keyes!!!
