"If he can advance the cause of conservatism, let's cheer him on." - big dittos
"I expect him to give Bush grief from time to time, but I also expect he'll agree with him more often." - and bash the liberals mercilessly, I hope!!!
"And, kudos to FOX, who is literally forcing the other cable channels to change."
Yes, amen - except for hiring Greta - but, now, thanks to the new conservative WAVE hitting the AIRWAVES thanks in large part to Fox as you say, I will have an alternative at the 10 PM time slot - Dr. Keyes!
(I don't ususally watch TV at this time anyway - so this will mean I will watch something I have not been used to watching - since I Never ever watch MSNBC. NEVER.
I used to be able to hear Dr. Keyes morning radio program - on the internet - and enjoyed it immensely. Let's hope he will be into some of the same topics as he discussed then. They never go out of style.
As for the Keyes detractors, ignore them. On TV, Alan will have a higher place from which to shine his beacon of truth and logic. Like moths to a porch light, the viewers will come. People are hungry for balance in the media. That's why Bernard Goldberg's Bias has been Amazon's #1 selling book for weeks.
The only reason the bozo has a public voice at all is because after bashing W in 2000 the DEMONrats and their lamestream media is praying for more of the same from DOCTOR keyes' rants.Amazing how this board has elevated GW to sainthood. I may reconsider my position, when he walks on water.
Time will tell. As an admitted Keyes basher I will make an uncharacteristic comment. If he can change any minds to a pro-life position via this platform I will gladly tip my hat and thank him. However I doubt MSNBC has that in mind and so I don't hold out a lot of hope.
One; "Your assumption of that happening comes from where?"; and...
Two; Who would you honestly like to have in the Whitehouse, given all that has transpired in 2001 - W, Gore, or Keyes?
Think about it and let the forum know your honest feelings.
National Review being the arbiter of loving conservatism, it would never ever be so incompassionate as to compare its political competition with fascist dictators. Never. Ever.
Well, okay, only whenever the Manhattan cocktail party set decides to trash yet another conservative personality popular in "flyover country." Especially if he dares to disturb the comfortable designs of the GOP party leadership.
Everybody to the center! Center Center Center! Who cares that the Left has shifted the center? To the center! To the center!
Like x42 should - why can't this weasel just go away.
Right now, all my news is local station tv or radio and the internet--various sites...guess what....I really don't miss having hot lips or tight pants tell me what happened in the world today in 10 seconds or so and then having to guess if what they said was the truth or a lie....actually reading an article generally gives you a lot more information.
It's solved for me! I'll just switch over and watch MSNBC for that hour! It's better than Larry King Live.
