We almost went to see HP the other night with the grandkids but it was between LOTR, Monsters Inc, HP and Snow Dogs and the kids had already seen Monsters and HP so we saw Snow Dogs. It was cute.

This is not an example of negative predestination. The phrase "since it was not given them to believe" does not refer to God withholding from them the grace of faith. It rather refers to these peoples' personal and collective refusal to believe. God, in His Mercy, did not try to give them the grace, knowing that they would either refuse or squander it.

I just said the Harry Potter thing because the BBFs hate it. What the heck, to her, I am doomed anyway.

She doesn't care what anyone believes. The BBF are very closeminded in my opinion. We are brought up to read everything, use our God given minds and decide - I always read both sides of things so I hopefully at least understand where people are coming from. It really has helped my faith become deeper.

Anyway, I just got home from work (nights at a computer) and I have to go to bed, kids up early!

Now how is this an insult? Your posts sound angry and well, vituperative. {To rail against abusively; berate.} Isn't this what you do all the time?
