Coleen He does not believe in the trinity..do you even know WHAT a Christian is? Read the creed for petes sake..He is a nice guy but he does not belive that God the Father,Son and Holy Spirit are one..He believes you can baptize the dead ..He believes that God the Father has sex in heaven to make new souls and He looks forward to doing the same thing,he believes if you live a good life you too can be a god ..for petes sake girl do a web search on Mormons..nice people but not christians..I can see why it does not bother you the pope kisses the book of a demon god..you do not even know the defination of a Christian...I gave you more credit than that .,I was wrong

I haven't read in the Bible where it says 'Love your neighbor as yourself...only if he believes as you do'. If you'll point out the verse, I'll look it up and read it. But I do remember things like "Even evil people love their friends..." "Love your enemies...." Forgive seventy times seventy...." "Turn the other cheek..."
What I see in my Bible is love and forgiveness, over and over again. God extends it to us and we extend it to others through His Grace.

I work with a nice guy who is a fundamentalist. I don't agree with almost everything he believes in, but I like him and I don't call him names and I don't disparage his way of loving God. Even though I think he's kooky.
I do know a lot about Mormonism. In fact, I am down at a local Mormon Temple almost every Saturday to do family research. I rent films from them - they go all around the world and film church records (and don't explain why they do that, I know). I just went through church records dating back to 1500 from England - not one of the members has ever been anything but kind to me. Not one of them has tried to convert me and I have been going there for 2 years. They have my address - I have never received anything in the mail from them. I have nothing negative to say about Mormons. I don't care what their practices are. I only know that I do not agree with their religious views, and I expect they feel the same regarding mine.
If you are going to post a definition of a religion, can you not post off of your hatefilled BBF sites? At least give a fair shot and post something less biased.
You profess to love God and you give this aura of trying to bring the waywards back into the true fold of BBF. Do you think you win many souls by being as venom-spewing as you are? I am so turned off by you and several others that are BBF. Because we can't see each other and our mental pictures are formed by words, I honestly see you as looking like Medusa.
I wouldn't be posting if I didn't love debate and have an interest in other religions, but the hatemongering I see by you and several other posters just makes me so happy that I am not one of you. Do you think Jesus spoke the way you do? Do you think Jesus thought the way you do?

I believe you place too much stress on the works of man..I believe that we are saved by grace....now I loved you enought to tell you that...I know it does not feel like love. but I care about your eternity...I guess more than you care about your friends..
Jesus Christ hung on a cross for YOU tiki..if you were the only one to ever be born He still would have hung there JUST FOR YOU.....He loved you that much......now that is something that should offer you comfort not anger......

Where did you get this stuff, Terry? Why do you fill a Catholic thread with it instead of posting the web address? So much of it is false and poisonous, written so that anyone would conclude "obviously wrong" who relied on it. It isn't just the Catholics that get attacked.
I ask again, why are you posting this? Is my criticism of Woody's aggression so on target (and now I must add, your aggression also) that the only thing you can think of is to attack my faith with lies? You are admitting defeat, not that that was my objective, but if it was, you have done it for me.

As far as anyone burning in hell, I trust GOD to save them, if He chooses to save them through me, I hope I can live up to His choice. As I said: Show me the verse that specifically says that I should hate anyone for their beliefs.
Once again, if you're trying to tell me that you are trying to save my soul by what you post on FR, you should do some praying because I don't see anything in your posts that would draw me closer to Christ, I only see your crowing about how you are saved and others are lost. I only see your smugness about your own Salvation and Bible knowledge and trying to prove a point, rather than real concern for anyone elses Salvation.

Do you know that the Mormons Baptize all those family members they help you find into their cult..Again, Terry, not true, and you use that attack word "cult" again, which is used against the Catholics and against your own church and has become meaningless until the next Heaven's Gate comes along.
