There is a program running all the time on my system called ptsnoop.exe. I have no idea what it is. I checked it, and it has been resident since the pc was originally loaded...or it is made to appear that way.

Hopefully we'll get a reliable comment from someone familiar with this file.

I'm going to guess that no organization intent on spying on us would name a file: ptSNOOP.exe, however.
