I thought Clinton was impeached, just not removed.

...he recently powered up the war room, now housed in his Harlem office, and bunkered down with foot soldiers like Gene Sperling, John Podesta, and Bruce Lindsey.Who's paying these people?

If you think of Clinton's time in office as "darkness" it will be much easier to see it for what it was by shinning the "light" of Bush's presidency on him.

The people of this country that pay taxes (to Ceaser) do!

I remember when it leaked out of thw WH that the "president" was converned about his legacy. I think it was 1997 or thereabouts. We should have ordered an immediate psychiatric evaluation.

Another reason Bill is seething is I just bet with his ego he wishes 911 had happened on his watch so he could have done something..But the first world trade attack did come on his watch an he did nothing but posture...so Bill..its your own fault.Nobody else to blame. End of your story.

I truly believe that 50 years from now Americans will look at the Clinton era and wonder how he could have ever been elected once much less twice. It won't take 50 years. Most of us on FR already can't believe he was elected twice to his 8-year reign of terror.
. . . history will remember Bill Clinton for what he was - a failed president.
If he were just a failed president, I wouldn't feel so bad. That happens. He was an EVIL president, bent upon destroying our country. He deserves to be stricken from the history books.

The taxpayers, Mc Auliffe and the Hollyweird Libs, not to mention all those criminals like Rich that the Felon pardoned.

It has been well documented by a California PHD who went to Arkansas and interviewed many people from Clintons past, in the book "the Dysfunctional President". His conclusion was that Slick Willy was in major denial and needed massive counseling to help him overcome his demons about being an adult child of alcoholics.

"We didn't know then what we know now". Yes, that the Clinton administration would get blamed for it!

I could not agree with you more, well said... He is truly Evil and I would add should be in jail. (Jail to the x-chief)

You are absolutely right. Clinton had the perfect opportunity to rally the nation with the first WTC bombing. He again had the opportunity when the Somalies drug our naked soldiers through the streets of Mogadishu, he again had the opportunity with the bombing of the Kobar Towers, again at the bombing of the embassys and a final opportunity with the bombing of the USS Cole. It's not that he didn't have the opportunity to rally the nation, it's that he lacked the ability to lead.
All said, Clinton has his legacy it's a legacy of FAILURE.

Slick was impeached, that fact cannot be altered.
Bubba will be remembered for the Fat Intern and the Oval Office sink.

You know a lot, actually. Clinton was impeached by the House. However, he was not convicted during his trial in the Senate and, accordingly, remained in office. Nonetheless, he bears the disgrace of being the first (and only) elected President ever to be impeached. Andrew Johnson, the only other Chief Executive to be impeached, ascended to the Presidency following the death of Abraham Lincoln.
