FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY, Remarks by U.S. Rep. Bob Barr (GA-7) Take a look at History and see what OUR government has been doing to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This didn't prevent 9/11, all it did was frighten Americans a little more so that when the USA PATRIOT Act came up for a vote we didn't scream about our RIGHTS.

Imagine what a difference it would be if our political leaders had to sign a statement saying they had read and fully understood each Bill that they voted on it. Imagine what it would do to send just one Senator or Congressman to jail for a signing false statement.

God! I just don't know what to say. I want the government to have lawful powers to do what needs to be done. But I want them to make the first attempt to do the job in A CIVIL MANNER without force. I see myself as a citizen who has entrusted to the government some of my "natural freedoms" in exchange for justice and security from the government. This is the basic compact of free citizens with a representative government. The more I hear of governments (at all levels) overstepping the bounds of civil behavior AGAINST good citizens, the more I feel it is time to rein in ALL government agents and agencies.

There's no way to rein this in - the federal, state and local government already have too much power. Power corrupts... you know the rest.

I waiting for the first citizen to be gunned down by a ninja suited goon squad from the Small Business Administration. I'm sure it will happen eventually.

'This can be time consuming, since requests take anywhere from 24 hours to several weeks.'

Oh, for the love of Pete. These weenies need to be disarmed before they start a civil war. What earthly reason do any of these idiotic bureaucrats have for arrest powers or for firearms? This is proof positive that the federal government is at the point of needing to be clean swept from top to bottom.
You can just poke my eyes out if this ain't the damnedest thing I've ever read.

"Lacking what he terms a "legislative fix" -- permanent deputization through a statute -- blanket deputation is perceived as the next best thing. "It's been a very efficient move for the government," As in, no legal authority?
To: D Joyce
No bill shall be introduced except in the House. No bill shall address changes to more than one law. No riders shall be attached to any bill. All votes on bills shall be by roll call vote. Good ideas here. I wish.

Yep, really. As if these jerkoffs couldn't afford to wait a year if they had to in order to do their insignificant little jobs. I swear, it looks as though people like this are going to have to be lynched in the thousands in order to make the least impression on them.
The DoJ doesn't deserve to even have deputization powers after this kind of abuse. Ashcroft should go to prison for failing to rein this in, and Reno should be hanged for starting it in the first place.

You should go to the Thomas homepage and look up S. 1480.
It is the proposed law for clarifying DOI enforcement powers.
It's not as bad as the "draft" that WND reported- but it has some faults.
Especially considering that FEMA was so incompetent as to use a sealed search warrant to get public data, I don't think blanket "deputization" is such a good idea.
DOJ should review IG requests.

ok so what are you going to do about it? Are you ready to start shooting at them? Is anybody here ready to start shooting at them?
That imo is the only course left if you want to stop them - talk won't work and the courts are crroked. So live with it or start shooting and quit pissing me off by reminding of it!
