He has a certain amount of time to work the claim ... or lose it. I'm not sure of the time but I can ask my friend who works a gold claim (dredging) in Happy Camp Ca. He finds enough to fund a lower middle class lifestyle
To: VA Advogado
Screw off jerk ... I will say this so everybody hears me ... I don't like you ... I don't want you to post to me or reference me again. Roscoe, jhoffa_ and even CJ can debate this and even flame without being disrespectful and when it gets down to it we can still have a fun conversation. You on the other hand are only here to disrupt call people vile names and otherwise just cause trouble. I WILL break my promise to myself not to hit the abuse button ... BUT if you post to me or reference me again ... that IS what I will do

He finds enough to fund a lower middle class lifestyle With gold prices stagnant for so long, he must have a knack for it.
To: Roscoe
He actually gets some pretty good sized nuggets ... I have a couple ... about thumbnail size ... he has to move car size boulders and vacuum under them to get them though. BTW he does put the boulders back when he's done. He's been thinking of getting a claim in Costa Rica ... but the banditos scare him
To: Roscoe
"His claim was fraudulent....Why?"
'Cause I was there Fust! ;^)

Clampers via Emperor Norton and his comely concubine "HopMe" claimed the Pacific ocean from Alaska to Baja California out to Guam in 1849

Emperor Norton bump!

Indeed so, my friend, or Afghanistan under the late, rather UN-lamented Talibunnies! Which is what these maroons remind me of... I suspect that if ever they had their way here, burquas would be the LEAST of the fashion statements we'd see. Oh, well, at least there are some of us who haven't forgotten the training we got from Uncle. For them to prevail to the degree they would like will be a costly job! In the case of our FR talibunnies, I would venture to say that they haven't the stones to pay the price for it.
To: dcwusmc
That ... my friend ... is training that I'm not likely or willing to forget

What happens when they miss the sewer line and hit a gas line or an underground high voltage line or bundle of fiber optic cable instead?
To: tacticalogic
OOPS ???? !!!!

OK, then try this on for size. There is a thread (here:
CLICK that might be of interest to you. As a RESTORATIONIST, I want to see us return to a CONSTITUTIONAL republic, where those statists who view government as a growth industry and the Constitution as a suggestion are laughed at and, where proper, jailed for crimes committed under color of UNCONSTITUTIONAL edicts. At that time, we can evaluate the WOsD and decide whether or not it can ever be made to conform to the Constitution. I personally doubt that it can, but I am willing to be persuaded AFTER the Constitution and Bill of Rights are returned to their proper place as the Supreme Law of the Land. I have also posted to that effect in this thread, with the same challenge to Roscoe, CJ and the usual suspects, with absolutely NO response. I wonder why????? (not)
To: tacticalogic
Bottomline that you don't have to knock down the door of a small time dealer to bust him. Big time maybe but small timers can be busted by undercover agents. One of my best friends (yes it's true) is a retired undercover narcotics officer. He is totally against the tactics used today. He says it just adds a whole lot of danger to EVERYONE involved that didn't used to be there. He says that working undercover for small time dealers used to be safer than riding in a patrol car.

Anarchy quickly leads to despotism Which, of course, you believe is equivalent to saying:
Freedom to do anything that one wants to with one's own self and property as long as one respects the equal freedom of others to do what they want to with their selves and property = Freedom to do anything that that one wants to with one's own self and property without regard for the equal freedom of others.
Or in the words of your favorite social engineer:
Freedom = Slavery
War = Peace
Ignorance = Strength
To: clamper1797
I wonder if the whole asset forfeiture thing adds to it. If the cops are convinced they've got a dealer, then as far as their concerned, the house, the contents, the cars, etc. are already theirs, so they can do whatever they want with it.

Anarchist #1: I claim this piece of land.
Anarchist #2: I don't recognize your claim.

Oops! This is where I came in. See ya!
To: Roscoe
You've convinced me. Its as tautological as "A = A":
Freedom to do anything that one wants to with one's own self and property as long as one respects the equal freedom of others to do what they want to with their selves and property = Freedom to do anything that that one wants to with one's own self and property without regard for the equal freedom of others.
To: Libertarian Billy Graham
Its as tautological as "A = A": Rand's tautology upon which Libertarian dogmatics are built.
Mind defining property?
To: Roscoe
I'm sorry, I meant it is as self evident as "A = B." I haven't been administered my first government dose of soma yet, but I'll catch on.
